Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Highly highly overpriced, with plates barely accompanied by any vegetables, and the little there was was cold. The hake had five large bones in it that could well have found their way in my tonsils, but the owners didn’t cared enough. Clearly they didn’t care...as they served the large prawn in a row on the plate, with nothing else. And no finger bowl or wipes for one’s fingers. You’d think a place by the sea, that serves seafood, would have at least that. No. We won’t go back.More

Had a great experience here having a birthday dinner for my wife. We arrived late (10:30pm) and they still sat us! Great service, great food, and an amazing scenery. We recommend trying this Toni 3 on your trip to Port Mataro

We have been here quite often and always satisfied! This restaurant is serving best fish, always fresh. My favorite is “San Pedro a la donosti”.

Great service, but was also not crowded. Made us feel valued customer, they prepared 1 big fish for the group, which tasted excellent. Starters all good. Overall nice, but don't expect to get away cheap.

Excellent location right next to the marina and station. The tapas was really good and one of the best we had during two weeks in Spain. Octopus was particularly good. Service was good and overall a good place to eat.

Right next to the boats in the marina, great and attentive service, and the food and desserts were delicious!

I had my first pitcher of Sangria here. The hostess that made this drink is an expert. You must eat at this restaurant. It was delicious. The atmosphere was excellent and the food was superb. The wait staff was extremely friendly to me and my...daughter. We ate here twice during our stay in Mataro and I will say it is my favorite.More

We went on a busy Saturday that the weather was fantastic so we stayed outside. There were six adults and two children and we took more than 3 hours to have lunch. Although they tried, were unable of providing a good service, the bread arrive...after the appetizer and several requests; the second bottle of wine never arrive and after waiting 15 to pay we went to the counter to pay and saw increased by 5 euros de (already printed) bill which said to be a mistake. The paella was good but some of the appetizers (patatas bravas, mussels and salad), were small portions All in all, good food at not bad price, but better not to go in a hurry or with hungry children.More

Staying in Mataro in march meant that a lot of restaurants were still closed. Others were a long walk from our Hotel. The Hotel recommended this restaurant within a few minutes walk of the Hotel. Excellent service and food. Loved the squid. Good selection of...wines. Manager spoke excellent English.More

This restaurant was the only place with clients in the harbour, so we chose it. The atmoshere was quite warm and nice. Nobody spoke English, but we managed to get what we wanted. The waitress was very friendly. The portions of clams and shrimps were...quite small and poor, so we still had cheese before deserts, which were not very fresh. With a bottle of wine and coffee we paid 85 euros which was a bit too much compared what we got.More

I was staying at a hotel in Mataro. The front desk manager recommended this restaurant which was within walking distance of my hotel. Nice locale, in sight of the harbor. Excellent food, reasonably priced, great service.

I normally give reviews for what I consider to be exceptional quality. However occasionally I experience a disgrace and like to share the information. I was recommended this restaurant by my hotel. On trip advisor the location is wrongly placed but when I pointed this...out to the staff ( after cycling for 30 mins and giving up. I only found it by accident on my way back. ) they were not very interested. Key points: I have been travelling for three weeks through France and spain and this is the worst value ( in fact a complete rip off relative to all the other meals I have experienced) Monkfish was tiny. More sauce than fish. Vegetables were cold Ice cream had crystallised Coffee was burnt. I wasn't offered water Avoid this restaurant. I did ask for a dry white Catalonian wine and was given a delightful "can vich" which was not on the wine list.More

We stayed near Mataro and Toni 3 became our favorite restaurant. The staff all spoke English and looked after us well, especially our six year old. Our favorite was the rib eye steak, that you cook year self on a hot stone. The menu has...a good selection and prices are similar to the UK.More
