Small family owned and run only one non-family employee the waiter who speaks excellent English. Interesting menu. Pecorino aged in fig, walnut or cherry leaves interesting, but strong flavors. Excellent pastas and deserts. Had a great Chianina steak. If you’re looking for Tuscan food, this is the real thing. Call or email for a reservation.

We came to Casa Cecco with the desire to eat a Florentine steak with a capital F but the waiter recommended a 1,400 kg Chianina steak because two of us couldn't have finished a Florentine steak which on average weighs 2,400 kg about and, in hindsight, he rightly advised us. While we waited for the steak to be cooked, we enjoyed some croutons with an excellent liver pâté flavored with vin santo as is customary in these parts; excellent! The Chianina they served us was spectacular! tasty, cooked just right and very soft (aged 70 days). We enjoyed it accompanied with some escarole cooked in a pan and washed it all down with some excellent Sangiovese from a local winery. 100% satisfied! Casa Cecco fully met our expectations: 10 for the restaurant, 10 for the service and 10/10 for the quality of the meat 🥩. Fair quality/price ratio. An experience to be repeated if we were to return to these parts and we certainly recommend Casa Cecco to those who love eating with excellent quality raw materials. Thank you Casa Cecco.

Very nice place in a country house halfway up the coast immersed in the countryside. Really everything is very nice with the rustic but tasteful interior, without any elegant exaggeration but in a correct manner

We arranged a dinner for 18, including one vegetarian and one celiac. Since they have a small kitchen to simplify their work, they asked us to do a tasting of appetizers and 3 first courses (ravioli with flakes of white truffle, half sleeves cream of asparagus and bacon and penne all'aglione) none of the first courses were exceptional, the celiac ate only one fillet......
Total cost €53 each........ It seems to me that they were not taken advantage of, more!

Organizing a motorbike ride with friends we booked this place intrigued by the reviews... what can I say, expectations were kept. We ate a first course Pici all'aglione and potato tortelloni in Chianina ragĂą, everything was appreciated and in the right portions, then we shared a Florentine steak, meat like butter and cooked just right for me. Finally, the price is certainly not among the cheapest but given the quality and quantity I would say we are there.

We had dinner in this suggestive place on Saturday 7 October.
We arrived much earlier than the opening time and so I was able to speak with Fabio who explained the differences between the various cuts of meat in simple words. A journey to discover his passion and his team. At the table we ate a Florentine steak weighing almost 2.5 kg accompanied by a portion of beans. Before the meat we asked for a portion of delicious Tuscan crostini. The Florentine was perfect in cooking and very soft. At the end I also wanted to taste the pici all'aglione and Fabio also explained to me how to prepare the sauce while the other diners shared the pistachio dessert which was also very good. We ate a lot and well and spent the right amount of money, spent a very pleasant evening in a very nice place but above all we met some nice people. Thank you.

My friends and I liked the restaurant, the service and the food. The fillet steaks were cooked to perfection, medium to medium rare. The extras like the fried vegetables were excellent and the house wine was also very good and inexpensive. If you want to eat good steaks, this is the place for you.

Intimate and characteristic restaurant in Viciomaggio. Very nice place, where the kindness of the staff and the goodness of the food dominate the meals. All the food is delicious, the vegetarian dishes are also good (they also modify their dishes on request), but meat is certainly the element that characterizes their cuisine; everything excellent and good quality for the price! Absolutely recommended!

We stopped for a lunch back from the holiday, very close to the highway with fast and fair service tempi.Posto lovely and nice. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent bruschetta and meat. An applause should also be made for the sweet tiramisu rum and amaretti and hazelnut ice cream top. Of course made by them. Excellent value for money adequate for the location and quality of food, very honest.

We chose the place because of the proximity to the exit of Arezzo. Good food and friendly staff. The lease is well maintained and has the look of a Cabin Themed Farmhouse inside. We took 5 penne with white meat sauce, 2 cut and 1 Florentine. All very good even if the Florentine wanted mini are 2kg. Given the immediate restart we did not opt for wines. It's been a while since I wrote a review, this restaurant fully deserves it.
The environment is beautiful and well looked after (although I'm interested in the food), the staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent platter of cold cuts and cheeses, super Chianina, perfect cooking (there's no point in bothering you because you like it well cooked, go to McDonald's or one of the many disgusting kebab shops), sublime flavour, certainly one of the Best Chianinas I've ever eaten.
Recommended place for those who like to eat WELL (that is, very few).

Fabio and Serena know how to pamper you like few people in the area and their restaurant reflects exactly what I like to find when I go out.

We followed Trip's reviews and scored. Just outside Arezzo in a in the country house we ate well. Obviously grilled meat and tartare preceded by a bruschetta of the day and gnocchi with truffles. All very good. The very nice waiter. If you pass Arezzo stop and also near the motorway exit

One of my favorites in all of Tuscany, this is a small gem in the middle of nowhere.
The steak tartar is simply amazing, the pigeon, the duck, the fillet with butter and rosemary and the Bisteca Florentina are all exceptional. Staff and chef are all super friendly. i loved this place so much i went back on my trip to try a different plate.
