This was a very welcome pit-stop for us, we enjoyed some local beer and refreshed ourselves while on our whole day e-bike tour. It was hard to drag ourselves away and back on the saddle, lovely atmosphere

We arrived with our friends after a day out sight seeing and ordered fish and chips from next door had a local beer and wine while waiting for the food that was delivered to us in the pub. Meg was very friendly ad gave us some tips on things to see and do in the area. Very friendly and a good laugh.

Been twice now and very refreshing with excellent local beers and wine such a great selection.Pizza for dinner on Friday just great .Sunday had the fish and chips from Ellis Rd takeaway next door and yes they deliver to the pub so sit back and enjoy

We come here a few times a year and always enjoy the choice of beer and cider. Last time we tried pizzas which were were nice too, will definitely have another one on our next visit. There is also a toy box for little guests which makes it more relaxing for parents.

A fun night with tricky questions. Yummy food - pizza and nachos, and of course a selection of tasty beers. We enjoy the taster tray. A HUGE thank you for supporting fund raising for local groups and individuals.

This is a fantastic little local pub . Lots of different craft beers to choose from and friendly helpful staff. You can order your fish and chips from next door(some of the best fish I have tasted) and have them delivered to you in the pub either wrapped ready to go or on a plate.
Dog and kid friendly as long as they behave themselves ;-)
They also make pizzas but I haven't tried them, and you can get your rigger filled to take away.

We pretty much stumbled across this great place while cycling the Great Taste trail out of Nelson.
It's just 20 metres from the trail and less than a block from the Head Quarters cafe in Brightwater but problems with signage mean that you can blink and miss it.
On the day that we dropped in with a thirst, the barman was welcoming and friendly. They stock only Sprig & Fern beers, but the selection was great. The lemongrass wheat beer was the perfect choice for a parched throat with 20 km further to cycle.
We didn't eat there, but the bar snacks were well above average with premium items on the shelf behind the bar.

A small quiet pub, one you can enjoy while biking the local bike trail. Sprig and fern brew their own ales and have a wide range to choose from.

Great little bar in a very relaxed setting. Local beer, wine and ciders. The best ever pizzas are made here as well and good fish n chips from next door, which you can have delivered here.
