We pop in each year when on holiday. Have had some lovely lunches in the past. This recent visit was very disappointing. My plate looked like it hadnt been washed with an odd smear of tomato sauce with my scroll. Had to ask for butter. The coffee was not great. My husband had a pulled pork open sandwich, with chips that looked thrown on the plate. It’s the first time i have seen pulled pork look like mince. Overpriced and very average. Didnt have the same atmosphere either.

We ordered an eggs Benedict and a toasted sandwich.
The eggs bene was served on hard to cut bread with one egg semi set and the other set when they should be served runny!.
The toastie was meant to be cheese and tomato, well the cheese was practically non existent and very little tomato, making it very dry and difficult to eat.

Staff are not very approachable or friendly when ever I visit. They bring over the cake I ordered for my young son but I have to go looking for cutlery and napkins. Prices are steep and food is average, coffee is reasonable. They really need to work on their hospitality as I'd rather take a drive in to Richmond to treat my son to a milkshake.

Terrible service here. Staff really cant be bothered with customer service. Ordering a coffee is obviously not worth a thank you. Now charging an additional 50 cents for takeaway cups but the price of the drinks hasn't reduced from before...in fact seems to have increased.. one tea bag in half a cup of water is now a whopping $4.50!
Pedal on past next time!

I’d inadvertently deleted my vaccine pass from my phone. The staff member rightly explained that I couldn’t be on the premises. I was annoyed with myself and while the staff member no doubt sensed my angst she was patient, informative but firm. Good for her.

Possibly the worst big breakfast I’ve ever had. Expensive ($24), and low grade food. Disinterested service staff with seemingly no training in hospitality. If there was another choice in this town, this place would not survive.

Went out to Brightwater to Headquarters for lunch,it has changed the atmosphere and now not worth the time to go out there.The food is too pricy, the hot chocolate was ok,but don’t lift the cover on the muffins you are not allowed to look to see if they are ok and worth buying,please don’t believe what you see on their Facebook page,the food looks nothing like that.

Hubby and I visited the cafe recently with our young son and had a lovely time. Huge menu, huge variety, good kids menu, large indoor and outdoor seating options with a lovely vibe In the cafe. We were served by friendly waiters and quick from order to plate. Good portion sizes for money spent. What we really went for was their extreme milkshakes that always capture my eye whenever I see one of their posts on Facebook. There are a couple of flavors to pick from but we went with the caramel donut flavour and wow was it good! Comes with mini donuts and metal straws in an old school pint sized glass. Loads of delicious. Kids size was available too. One was good to share between hubby and I. Highly recommend.

A friend and I went here for lunch we were surprised of the many beautiful tasty choices. I had avocado smash my friends had taco spinach and chicken. Both dishes were delicious. The police itself was really big you can eat outside but we sit inside. All the very comfortable chairs. The service was extremely good and very fast. recommendable.I will definitely come back here again.

My wife and I had lunch here. What a surprise lots of choices very nice present it. I had to chicken nachos and my wife had pumpkin soup with gluten-free bread. Both of us were very impressed with the Quick service. And it was recently priced. We will definitely come back again.

the three of us,having Brunch in Brightwater, on a sunny late Saturday morning and we were stunned at the fantastic value. Generous, perfectly cooked good brunch, that compliments the term Brunch; breakfast and lunch all in one alright! Thanks to the 'business' and we hope there is enough 'traffic' that will find it's way to your place!
For me it was a reunion with Brighwater as I arrived as one of those Dutch Europeans many years ago (40 to the day!), living in that street as my first home address in New Zealand. The Sunshine center of New Zealand, little ol' Brightwater! ♥

I have never eaten such a bad and pathetic sandwich...flat chicken meat fried with no taste, cheese and cabbage...raw cut with a little mayo and relish...giant bun with no taste and fries...sucking. I only ate the "chicken"
