I enjoyed a small helping of fish & chips for $9 that satisfied me, if your really hungry go for a larger chip portion. The fish was fresh and tasty and the chips were large, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Queen Vic can get busy on the weekends, so I would definitely pre-order your meal for pick up. The service is friendly enough. The fish is always perfectly done, every once in awhile the chips could use a few more minutes in the oil to...get a bit of a crisp up, but that is on the odd occasion, if you like them crispy I would definitely request them crispy. This is our go-to for fish and chips, and they also have a great selection of other option, including burgers, fritters, nuggets and more! Something for everyone! If you are having a picnic and forget the sauce they have the option to purchase sauces as well. It's all good and Queen Vic Chippy.More

A greasy mess, the paper was drenched in fat.. It did not look apertising , the chips were soggy and the fish was so-so. We will not be back.

Well this used to be THE place to go for fish and chips in Cambridge. Not any more. It appears to have changed ownership and the food was very average. The fish was bland and did not seem overly fresh. The chips weren't their usual...either. Won't be back. Such a shame!!!More

quite an expensive chippy shop - the food was fine... but probably bit too greasy for our taste. I think they should drain their fish and chips for longer. It seems like there may be new owners...? Also too much batter and even our kiddies...complained about the oil. So we will be returning to our old fish and chippy shop in Cambridge.More

We ordered fish and chips, scallops and squid rings. All was very nice, thick batter on some pieces and at times a little oily, however i would order again. Seemed very busy, we waited 45 mins despite being told 25 min wait time. Very popular...with locals and tourists alike.More

Sunday night we just fancied fish and chips. We phoned through our order and arrived at the Queen Vic at the appointed time just as they were wrapping our order. We went to the nearby Victoria Square, found a vacant table and unwrapped our meal-...perfection!! Beautifully cooked chips not at all greasy, lovely batter on the fish and beautiful white fresh and flavoursome fish. All this looking out over the green trees of Victoria Square and on a lovely warm and balmy evening-it doesn't get much better than this! Probably some of the best fish and chips that i've ever had-top class.More

We called in here for a simple fish and chip supper. We all ordered snapper and chips. Everything was freshly cooked to order and was piping hot and with crispy chips and nicely battered firm white fish, it was a very tasty meal which we...ate at nearby picnic tables on the cricket ground. Some of the best fish and chips we have had in a while. They are also excellent value for money.More
