We waited to be seated (in a nearly empty restaurant), for nearly ten minutes, while being ignored by the supervisor operating the till and at least 3 other staff. When I pointed this out, I was told it was our fault for being late for...our booking, therefore she wasn't expecting us and assumed we were with the gentleman who was paying his bill at the time. After that, the wrong meal was brought, taken away and brought back still wrong. The food was bland, over cooked and didn't fit the menu descriptions well. I'm pretty sure the "pancetta" was just streaky bacon, the "focaccia" was just a roll. My poached eggs were hard. To be fair, the first cup of coffee was delicious, however the second was lukewarm and weak. however the waitress assigned to our table was trying her best to be helpful - even made us a fly swat out of a rolled up newspaper as there were lots of wasps !More

I visited at lunchtime and was delighted by the friendly front of house staff. They noted that there were nice shady tables for the kids outside and brought us out water straight away. Our order was brought out very quickly and was generous portions. The...staff were were so friendly and kind to the kids. The plsyground is great especially for younger kids. Highly recommend. Fantastic coffee as well!More

We are regulars of this cafe and have always recommended it to friends and family. This visit though, was the first time we left saying we wouldn’t be back anytime soon, which is such a shame. Service was really slow to start. I ordered the...sweet corn fritters which were more like flat bread/corn bread with minimal corn, Luke warm, tasteless with a tomato salsa which didn’t go with it. Eating it was a chore. My son had the eggs Benny- two runny as eggs on an English muffin- extremely average. He commented that we should have stayed at home and cooked ourselves breakfast. Something has changed at this cafe and it is hugely disappointing as this was our go to lunch spot. I hate writing bad reviews but this bad review was well deserved.More

Went out to celebrate level 1 and ordered coffees and nachos. Service was great but ends there. Coffee was not hot but cool. We order nachos with bbq beans and brisket (extra cost). Nachos were fresh made which was nice but the beans were just...bake beans with bbq sauce. The brisket was tasteless and dry! It needed some kind of sauce or even a dot of sour cream!! We enjoyed our time out but will never order that again. We laugh to think that bbq baked beans was considered a good choice!More

Love going here and sitting in the beautiful cafe amongst the acres of blueberry bushes. It is a shame that the road construction has made getting there a bit of a hassle, but so worth taking the detour to get there. Do yourself a favour...and go for a coffee, breakfast or lunch.More

This cafe is surrounded by blueberries and is such a peaceful location. Bright and airy and a good selection of food and drink. The calamari was cooked perfectly and served with a crisp fresh salad, and was washed down with a glass of blueberry wine....Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning.More
