Decided after some driving and staying in the appartements which belong (partly) to the same owner to eat there. Great honest food for a very fair price. The dishes with truffel are recommended as well as his desserts of home made yochurt!!!

Arriving, early evening, in Lamporecchio on the first Monday of our stay, our satnav insisted a house at the foot of the hill was our destination. We phoned Stefano who guided us up the hill (and was just about to jump in his van to...come & find us). The location is stunning, perfect in fact. The building & rooms designed & furnished to a very high standard. Immaculately clean. After showing us to our room we asked for a recommendation for dinner, not only did Stefano recommend somewhere, he drove down the hill so we could follow him & showed us the Restaurant! We stayed here 10 days altogether & in that time enjoyed a meal in the Restaurant and a BBQ evening with live music. Wonderful evening, great food. There were a couple of things which would have made our stay a little more comfortable, for example tea/coffee facilities in our room & more comfortable, relaxing seating outdoors for those sunny days when you just don’t want to travel far. I think La Dispensa would make a perfect Yoga / Well-being Retreat......the views, the peace & quiet, just perfect for relaxing. Thank you Stefano & Team for looking after us so well. Hope the business continues to go from strength to strength.More

A little off the beaten path, but you will be rewarded with a meal and view second to none. The menu varies from week to week but the theme is Tuscan cuisine using local ingredients. Many of the dishes use the pecorino cheese that is...produced onsite. The atmosphere is chill and friendly - not pretentious in the least.More

We spent a night including dinner and breakfast at La Dispensa. I can strongly recomend comming here. Warm and friendly staff, good taste in interior and external design, clean and tidy. They have a sheep farm so we got to enjoy delicious cheese and meat...for dinner and sheep youghurt for breakfast.More

We visited the place by accident - it wasn't open, but they still made us some simple, delicious pasta for lunch. All' aglione and carbonara, both perfect ! Very nice, modern decoration - don't let the old pergola fool you. Excellent cheese and olive oil....Very friendly owner. The place is in the middle of nowhere, but worth a visit.More
