The place is very simple and simple but the food is very good. You can tell the owner's presence there. It is a varied menu and we ordered 3 pastas and a fish. An excellent choice. Especially the two seafood pastes were amazing. An intense but delicious taste

Didn’t feel like we had a warm welcome - maybe a language thing as we speak very little to no Italian. Anyway service was functional and the mixed cheese starter was nice but mixed it wasn’t ie it was all the same ! The middle course rescued the evening. 4 pasta dishes all very very good.

The nice ale in a small square in Costa Paradiso. We had both an aperitif and dinner with friends, really friendly staff, and really good food... Amazing mussels and I think I ate the best seafood pasta ever. Absolutely recommended!! !!Prices normal.

The best on the whole Costa Paradiso
We hadn't booked but with great professionalism they made us sit on the sofas, making us wait for a table to become free and offering us 2 glasses of wine.
The lady with a touching kindness and the easy-going boy, kind and quick
We ate the seafood mix, paid €50 for 2 people and I tell you it was crazy delicious, in fact we asked for another miniature one 😅 not that the portion was small, in fact it was gigantic but after 1 year on the diet we took the luxury of getting out of the way done well

First the good: the food tasted good. The staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating: despite coperta there was a simple bread basket (only baguette) after questioning. After I had already finished eating, my wife was still eating, my plate was cleared. The service does not match the prices; an appetizer costs on average 20€. Lovely little gem of a place. 13 of us arrived unannounced and they accommodated us no problem. Food was gorgeous and the staff were so lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I would recommend if visiting the area.

We ate at Lino's almost every night during our recent stay in Costa Paradiso. The quality of the food is exceptional - Lino only uses fresh seafood from the local area and his attention to detail and quality really shows. The pasta dishes use simple, fresh ingredients and are perfectly executed - stand outs include the spaghetti vongole, carbonara and amatriciana. The fresh seafood is full of flavour. For something really special, you can order the porchetta for a group (wild boar roasted in the traditional Sardinian way). The wine collection consists exclusively of local wines from the surrounding area - make sure to ask Lino or his staff for their recommendations as they have a number of bottles that do not appear on the menu. Finally, the staff are fantastic. Lino and Flavio in particular will go out of their way to make you feel like family, even if you don't speak any Italian!

No restaurant in Costa Paradiso is standing out from the crowd - and the same goes for Trattoria Del Mare. They have the dishes, the view, and the service that you can expect. It is not great but not bad - a bit touristy as all the restaurants.
I would definitely recommend the seafood pasta dishes and the coffee.

Arrived here at 6.40pm with four adults and two children and asked for a table. They did not start serving until 7.30 so we said we would wait and order drinks, praying the kids would last until then. At 7. 30, they took orders from 3 other tables before ours and we had to call them over to our table to ask to order! There was no kids menu and when we asked for alternatives on the pasta menu we were told that for kids, it was plain pasta or nothing. Having waited so long, we ordered anyway, but several times we had to chase up drinks we had ordered. They were unfriendly towards us and it seems that they served Italian families much more quickly. Not a great experience at all.

First of all: I often travel across Europe for work and I get to visit many beautiful places, meeting a lot of new interesting people. For me to write a review, the place has to have something special, and Trattoria del mare definitely caught my attention. It did it so much that every-time I step by Sardinia I feel the urge to go there and have a dish of “Spaghetti allo Scoglio”. The way Lino cooks this dish makes it so tasty that I have yet to find a place in the entire area which beats him.
Apart from great food; the warmness, with which Lino and Marlita greet you, makes this place so special for me. Dining at trattoria del mare feels like being at home with your mum cooking for you, while you see the wave of colours created by the sun that melts into the sea at sunset. It gives you such a deep sense of peace and quiet that it doesn’t astonish me the place often gets very crowded and sometimes unexpectedly.
Actually. because of this atmosphere, there were a couple of times where the place got so crowded and so suddenly it caught the staff unprepared and caused some people to wait a bit longer for their food
(I see they just hired two new waiters and they are interviewing another candidate in order to prevent this from happening again)
Book early if you plan to go for Dinner between Wednesday and Sunday and try their “Scoglio”, you won’t regret it :)

The food was very good, I took a seafood spaghetti and I loved it. I also tasted the carbonara, it was not at all what I was expecting, it tasted very delicious and it had a good onion taste. The food took a long time to come (45 m) but in the meantime they gave us free food so in the end it didn’t bother us!
