We have a home in Costa Paradiso and have been staying for a few months at a time over the last ten years and there has never been a nice fine dining restaurant here until now. My husband and I saw a sign for a new restaurant and thought we would check it out. To our surprise, the dinner we had was excellent. The chef (Daniele) is from Piedmont and their specialty is meat. Each dish was spectacular and was worth going for dinner three nights in a row!
The presentation of each dish was beautiful and the taste definitely matched. You can tell that the chef puts a lot of effort from everything to the type of ingredients that are chosen down to the type of sauce that is made.
In addition the food, the service was also incredible. One of our servers (Frederica) spoke English and helped us translate to understand the menu.
We really felt as if we were family.

What we appreciate about the Calice d'oro is the exceptional: the quality and originality of the food, its loving preparation and presentation, the regularly changing menu, the particularly attentive service and the beautiful ambience. The service staff are extremely well trained, which is not something to be taken for granted. We find it wonderful that the restaurant is also open in the winter months. Special thanks for that. We have been there several times. Most recently a week ago. You will look in vain for anything similar in the area. We would like to thank the entire team in the kitchen and restaurant.

Very good food. The cheese platter with 6 different local cheeses is super tasty. The meat was of very good quality and prepared just right. Very friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere. Not cheap, but the price is worth it.

A quiet place, very nice and with a good atmosphere. In the service we were lucky enough to be served by a waitress who has lived in Barcelona, sorry I don't know her name, lovely!! She advised us on wine and dishes, everything was very good!! The best meal in the week we have been here. It's not cheap but it's worth it! Thank you!!
