A good place ( like many around in the area), to sit and rest a little during a hot summer day, drink a refreshing Frappe or Cafe Freddo, have some cake or...ice cream. Have eaten here a few times, English breakfast is okay, not a real English, but good enough for our Dutch standards. Continental breakfast is good too. Enough to eat. Club sandwich with fries is nice too and you get free cold filtered water here. The...worst thing about this place is the very slow service. Even if it's not busy. Takes forever even to bring the menu and to order something. Last time, okay it was quite busy, but we sat there for 15 minutes and weren't even able to order 2 coffee and a coke. Saw that they had take away coffee to so we tried that, but it wasn't possible, like? Why put it on a sign? The ice cream is nice but were not going to eat here again, because it's just such slow service. And only two people take orders, way to little for such a big tavern/snackbar. They people are friendly though.More
Great place to eat and drink. The views are amazing, especially when watching the sun go down. The desserts just melt in your mouth. These are all made on site. The ice cream is amazing. Another family run business, thank you Dina and Dimitri.
After 57 years of running the family business, Tsaliki’s really know what they’re doing when it comes to food and especially desserts. It’s a big statement to say anything is the best in the world, but I can’t imagine where you could find a better...selection of ice creams and desserts as fresh and as tasty as those made daily by the team at Tsaliki’s. With 2 great locations overlooking Petra bay, lovely and friendly staff and amazing food you really need to pop by some time, tell them the ‘chocolate pie guy’ sent you, they’ll know who you mean.More
Fab place to stop and enjoy a drink or bite to eat and watch amazing sunsets over the sea..... We ordered the gyros (ideal as a lunch as not so huge a portion) which was just so yummy and washed down well with the retsina....Perfect price - approx 10 euros for 2 x gyros (kebab in pita with a few chips) and price includes retsina too. Worth a visit !More
