Good came out within a good time frame. The food was ok I wouldn’t have the chocolate brownie dessert again but the food we had was ok. The cocktails were small for the price. Friendly service.

We had a group of 8 diners - we ordered pork belly/Dixie chicken/scotch fillet/salmon .what was great is that you had a big menu to choose from and choice of sides.our meals were all first class - the chef knows how to impress. And then...there are the deserts arrgggh sooo good.our fave was the banoffie pie . Drinks were reasonable and the place had a good vibe. We definetly plan to return - a local gem bistro style pub and wonderful service .More

Great dinner (and brunch the next day). An unexpected surprise - we were staying in Waitomo but the Huhu cafe was booked for dinner so we drove to Otorohunga and stumbled across this restaurant.. a fabulous dinner - great ambience as well as great food....Would definitely recommend.More

It’s a comprehensive menu with nothing particularly interesting on it. Service was good. The curly fries were good but a bit floury, and the open steak sandwiches were huge but the steak itself was cold making it unpleasant. The mushrooms and bacon were delicious. Overall...it was disappointing but probably provided exactly what it promised which really wasn’t much.More
