This small friendly restaurant serves truly exceptional meals, spectacular from pre-starters to desserts, in a lovely courtyard areas. The food is imaginative and light. Great local wines by the glass, excellent bread.

We were staying in Verduno for a little over 1 week, and this was one of our favorite meals of our trip. The restaurant is very small, approximately 5 tables or so, and has a large glass window looking into the kitchen. There is only 1 chef and one waiter who prepare an extraordinary meal from start to finish. It's an amazing and mesmerizes experience to watch. When you see the beautiful presentation and the amazing flavors, its hard to believe that something so perfect was prepared by just 1 person. Truly amazing. The prices of the food and wine are incredibly fair, and the service is extremely friendly. A wonderful experience from start to finish. We can't wait to return soon.

This is only a small restaurant tucked away in small street off the main road. We had to park a little way up the main road and walk back.
It was a lovely evening so everyone was seated at tables outside. Inside, the sole female chef and owner, toiled away on her own behind a glass fronted kitchen that looked immaculately clean.
Menu was not large (and not surprising when we realised there was only one person in the kitchen) offering choices between five starters, four pasta dishes, four mains and five desserts. The most expensive dish on the menu was the gnocchi with black truffle at Euro16-00.
We had as starters the cured beef carpaccio with sliced melon and the soft egg with potato potage, beef reduction and black truffle. As mains we had the slow cooked beef with potato puree and the Carpione - chicken, egg, meatballs, beans and squash. Desserts looked appealing so we shared a peach merengue and the panna cotta with berries. All of the dishes were very tasty with no misses.
Wine list was not extensive, focussing on Piedmonte and other regional Italian wines. We had though previously read about the Pelaverga wine which is native to Verduno and sought to try it. Quite surprising given that Verduno is in the middle of Barolo territory. The bottle we had was delicious, particularly on a hot evening, being somewhere between a Rose and a Pinot Noir.
Service from the one waiter/maitre'd was attentive and friendly.
Meal with wine, water and service charge was only Eur102-00 which we thought was great value for what we had eaten and drunk.

My family of 4 (including 2 children, 17 and 15 years old) dined at Agnulot - it was our first of 5 nights in the Barolo region.
We are a foodie family and this was unquestionably one of our ‘top 5’ meals ever. All of our meals across 3 courses were exceptional, the detail and lightness of touch was something to behold, and the service was also first-class, which when you consider that the chef, Mire (who clearly loves what she does), literally does everything (welcomes you, takes orders, serves drinks, etc.), it really is something special.
For wine-lovers like us, the cherry on top is the wine list, which while compact is superb with plenty of older vintage Barolos and offers simply outstanding value.
We had several great meals in Barolo but this one clearly outshone all of the others. Thanks for such a memorable experience Mire.

We cannot out-do the reviews already on file for this little jewel of a restaurant in Verduno. It is truly great, from all points of view: food, prepared practically before your eyes, is truly stunning; wine is the best, especially if one follows the good advice provided; service both excellent and friendly. Lastly, it is reasonably priced. We will long remember the pasta with yellow tomato sauce, burrata and anchovy crumble, the slow-cooked pink pork filet on a bed of fennel with apple sauce and ... the panna cotta with plum coulis!!! We will very definitely return.

An unforgettable evening in beautiful Verduno!
Passionate chef and owner Mirella carefully crafts every dish. You can see her working in her open kitchen.
Menu is short and very curated. Local Langhe cuisine with a little modern touch of sophistication.
The tagliatelle with fresh tartufo bianco d'Alba were amazing.
Mirella tries to make each guest feels comfortable and have memorable experience.
We were very appreciative for the wonderful touch we had for my husband's birthday.
Grazie Mirella, speriamo di ritornare un giorno!

My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Angulot! Mirella, the chef and owner, is an incredibly gracious and kind host. Her passion for her craft and the regional cuisine and wine infuses every aspect of the dining experience. Watching Mirella work in her spotless, open kitchen is a treat and her food was just spectacular! Angulot is tiny and books up quickly-only three tables and Mirella runs the kitchen, the dining room, and everything in between-so be sure to make a reservation far in advance. Truly a one of a kind dining experience in Piemonte! Grazie mille, Mirella!

Unique experience. Unique as the owner who manages orders, cellar, preparation and service for 10/12 diners who can access the room. And do not think that there is approximation disinterest or lack of care in the details of the service. The spectacle of the preparation of noodles at the time and the care of the presentation of the dishes alone deserves the experience. And do not think of waiting too long. Times are in line with any other restaurant. Excellent value for money and a wine list for all budgets. Not to be missed

We come be 4 years ins at Agnulot (3 couples) it was as always excellent food, very pleasant atmosphere and a hostess who you can tell that she enjoys cooking. Since the restaurant is very small, a timely reservation is recommended. If you want to eat alba truffles, you should also pre-order them.

Cannot say enough good things about Agnulot. Chef Mirella creates a memorable experience. It is a joy to watch her in the kitchen and her passion is reflected in every dish. Tiny so reservations are a must. But go if you can.

Fabulous local food, prepared freshly behind a window to the kitchen by the solo owner/chef, almost dancing through the dishes. Dishwashing inbetween the servings with just one waiter. Unusally (for Piemonte) quick service.
A standing ovation from our group of 18.
Highly recommended.

Finally a little place in the true sense of the word that deserves... I dare say pure poetry for a perfect couple's dinner. The location is excellent in a private room where silence and a relaxing atmosphere dominate. Four tables, really four, for an evening that began as it should be with the confidentiality of the case and ended in friendship in sharing personal stories and facts with the other diners. Sublime cuisine... carefully prepared and based on the highest quality raw materials, cooked on sight. Absolute cleanliness and order. Traditional dishes but with a touch of refinement and originality that makes dinner never banal or predictable. Amazing wine list for the quality of the labels. Absolutely correct account in relation to the quality. Thank you Mirella for the lovely evening

But what a show, they say that good wine comes in small packages and that's exactly how it is for this restaurant.
Very small, maximum ten seats, only one person does everything very well, friendly and waits at the tables.
The herb agnolotti are spectacular, everything is served with love and professionalism and with so much kindness.
Very good, I will definitely be back.
