We walked along the Nungwi beach and found ourselves in this small, quaint bar by the beach. We sat down facing the beach and asked the bartender, Pascal, to surprise us with cocktails that we wouldn't find anywhere else in the world. He came up with a fruity and tangy concoction, absolutely delicious. Perfect place for a relaxed drink as you watch the sun go down the horizon. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Nungwi or the surroundings.

We've been in Zanzibar for the last 10 days and we were looking for the best smoothie (mango / passion fruit), at least similar with the ones in Thailand. We stayed on the west cost at a 5* hotel, in Jambiani and in Nungwi and did not find anything good (most of the smoothies don't have a fruit taste). We found the best smoothies done by Ibrahim in Zee-Bar on Nungwi beach. Haven't tried yet the cocktails but I am sure that they are great!
If you want the best smoothies in Zanzibar ask for Ibrahim in Zee-bar!

Being in Zanzibar is definitely beautiful and when it gets hot all I can think about is their Mango Pineapple Mocktail. I absolutely love the way they make this drink and the customer service they provide is so welcoming. Next time you find yourself in Zanzibar Double tree. Make a stop at Zee Bar and order yourself something nice, chill and talk to the bar tenders (Ibrahim and Emmanuel). Their customer service has made this trip one to remember 🙌🏽

What an awesome experience from the scenery, the food, the people and the service! We had the pleasure of meeting Joseph the food and beverage manager and was treated like royalty by him and his team. Special thanks to him, Monika, Baby Boy, Leah, Ibi, Benson just to mention a few. What a friendly group of guys. They will do what it takes to make your experience the best in Zanzibar. They will cater to any drink order you request, give you the best recommendations for your vacation and just a fun place to be around. It’s magnetizing yo come here after a nice day at the beach to enjoy a Long Island, Mojito or a Piña colada that these gents make fresh for you.
This bar has a feeling of an island far away yet a home town feeling that you remember around the corner from your house.

Beautiful little waterfront bar with friendly bartenders (Emmanuel and Raphael) who make gorgeous, tasty cocktails with fresh fruit and crushed ice. They also serve up piping hot snacks from the nearby kitchen. Fried calamari and falfalafel baskets are delish!

Very good cocktails and ambiance. Special thanks to Emmanuel, Pascal, Mosos and Rafael for friendly talks and well prepared cocktails.Hakuna matata ✌🏼I highly recommend Pinacolada and Zanzibar dawa🍹we are just disappointed that they increased prices during our stay without notifying. check the prices everyday before you order. We check the menu for first few days and ordered without menu. They increased the prices of cocktails and we realized somehow after 5 days.

Very impressed with the quality of drinks at this bar. Sometimes at all inclusive places they only use artificial ingredients and syrups but here they muddle fresh ginger or mint and blend in fresh pineapple or mangos into their drinks. Would definitely recommend the Zanzibar Dawa and Caipirinha (they use brown sugar to sweeten it and it was the best I’ve had!) The staff are friendly and professional!

The drinks are served with much passion, the staff are incredibly friendly and the ambiance is very relaxing and warm. Special mention to the barman Pascal who had been excellent and very friendly save is an asset to the team. Keep up the great work

I had an amazing experience at Double Tree beach side bar. The bar guy is just soo creative and i was surprised by every glass presented to us.
Drinking while watching the sunset was a plus plus for me. And if you can swim in the ocean, you will definitely love the convenience of swimming and getting back to the bar for a sip.
This was my favorite cocktail and mocktail spot in Nungwi ☺️

Robert and Ibrahim were so attentive and great bartenders. Their cocktails were superb, especially the non alcoholic ones.....which is a first for me, not having alcohol in a cocktail. Nothing was too much for these guys and they were always on hand or looking after guests on the beach area. There was never a need to leave your sunbed, which is always a bonus. Well done guys.

Had a lovely all inclusive stay at the hotel. Bar staff were always so attentive. Ibby behind the bar on the beach was great every night putting extra effort in to each cocktail and making sure we enjoyed our stay

The beach bar is fabulous. Great atmosphere right here n the beach and the bartenders (especially Emmanuel and Raphael) are just the best. So helpful and nice. And the cocktails are incredibly good. Just the old classics with some Zanzibar specials but so fresh with great local ingredients and very generous pours. We had a seafood pizza as well which was really good. The seafood in the pizza was so fresh and we just loved it. We are staying down the beach and will be back during our trip! There is live music on Wednesdays and Sundays at about 7pm they told us. Great vibe

We visited the Zee bar in May and we really enjoyed the delicious cocktails that were prepared for us by Ibby & Benson. Mango Daiquiri was my favorite. This is a must have on the beach bar . I must say the service was excellent, top notch. The sunset view from the bar was magnificent.. I was in awe just how amazing the view was! Definitely a place I will visit again!!!❤️

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at DoubleTree at Nungwi beach. The private beach area is where we spent most of our time. It has a splendid view of the beach and ocean and the attentive staff made sure that we always had drinks or snacks.
A special mention to Emmanuel Mabula on the bars team who took care of us and provided service with a smile throughout our stay.
Our poolside room was well equipped and the bathroom seemed modern and newly renovated.
The food could be better for a four star resort but overall a wonderful stay. We will be back!
