I ordered a satay as a starter and pork sweet and sour as main dish. Ii both dishes the meat was boiled instead of fried, and the main course was more a soup than a main course dish.

My wife and I had dinner at Thai Siam Restaurant in Wanaka. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated promptly. Service was wonderful and the food delicious. Love this restaurant, I go back each time I come to Wanaka. The sizzling platter is the one!! Like a volcanic eruption on a platter. With coconut rice. Simply delicious. Quiet little restaurant with a limited menu but what they had was lovely. Had wrapped prawns entree and chicken with peanut sauce and a seafood dish with rice. Well priced and very good service.
Ordered takeaways online. Ready right on time. Prawn Tom Yum soup my favourite and theirs was delicious. Served with coconut rice. Definitely worth a visit if in Wanaka.

I think this might be the worse Thai food I have eaten anywhere in the world. Dry chicken, soggy vegetables , sauces heavy on soy and devoid of the usual mix of herb and spice flavours normally associated with Thai cuisine.
