Had an early dinner here and it was delicious! Always busy here but the food comes out quickly. Staff were all friendly. All the food and drinks were great, would definitely go back!

What a shame a family celebration ruined - all started with the set menu due to party size - $63 for two courses when you can get a starter and main from the a la carte for less in almost every combination - absolute rip...off! We were told we still had to pay for starters - 4 limp leaf salads with no dressing for $60 which were not even wanted - local beer was not very good either. Never left a bad review on tripadvisor before but we all left angry! Could never recommend.More

Food was scrumptious and service exceptional. Would highly recommend if visiting Wanaka. We got the greenhouse experience and loved the intimacy.

We visited Francescas based on the Trip Advisor recommendations and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I highly recommend the word fired pizza and the pasta. They also offer a kids menu for 12 year olds and under. The...canneli is a must!More

Great atmosphere, background music unobtrusive, food service was fast, limited menu unless you like Pizza, while the food tasted good, the serving size of the main was small, suggest you also get some breads etc. Poor value for money. Enjoyed lunch here on a wet arrival to Wanaka. We found the restaurant, it was on the corner at the end. Was thrilled to see a separate vegan menu. Encouraged by the excellent food at Franchesca's in Christchurch, we made a booking for the same place in Wanaka. The service appeared to be a bit unorganized because we were repeatedly asked about our order for drinks and food, despite already having placed them. Foodwise,...our first two courses were good and we went for a dessert. This was a big mistake. We ordered Pana Cotta, the famous Italian thickend cooked cream. However, what arrived didin't show any resemblance to a real panna cotta. A(very) sweet bisquit with some cream on top. Upon our complain, the waitress informed us that this is the chef's interpretation. The he shouldn't call it panna cotta, especially since the restaurant advertises "Authentic Italien Cuisine" Sorry guys, this is a foul play.More

We stopped in to ask for a dinner reservation and they kindly fit us in to the busy evening. The owner was very personable and checked with us a few times during the meal.
