Tucked in the back and access through a small side lane, we found this restaurant. The reviews were mixed and we were a bit apprehensive but pleasantly surprise at the taste of the food. Petsonally I would prefer reduce a bit of the salt, oil...and sugar. Prices are also mixed with regular item overpriced. Overall, still a good eat and have no regret coming here.More
Very expensive!! But the shock to me was, the Virgin Cocktail …(Rose G&T) …. $14…. Very disappointing… when it came out in a tin can beside a tall glass of ice…. While everyone else got a nicely made cocktail that had a bit of effort…....I would have just ordered an imperial tonic for $7 if I’d known I was just getting a can of drink 🍹More
In a nut shell the food was very tasty but incredibly expensive -$192 for 2 people inc 2 drinks each. $40+ for mains is ,in my opinion, far too much for this type of meal.

Outstanding Asian fusion restaurant hidden away in the back street of Wanaka. Loved the pickled cucumber, dumplings, pork & rice. Lovely service. A real hidden gem serving food with great flavour & presentation.
Love this place. Superb menu, food, wine, ambiance, service, great mountain views. Make sure to book to avoid disappointment.
Was in Wanaka for a few days and tried to book a table here, on the last night I managed it, everything was a wonderful taste sensation, ordered the 'Lamb neck - unusual choice for me but so so good, the smokey tenderness. It's all...good try it all....More

We dined here with 8 people. Lovely staff. Delicious food. Plates came out one or two at a time, sometimes with quite an interval so it didn't feel like a meal - more like sporadic mouthfuls. Amazing view and great vibe though.

We were a family of four adults. The advice and suggestions were superb. We chose 2 small plates of dumplings and the cauliflower. The cauliflower was amazing! We then chose the Mongolian beef and the pork with a side of greens. We left very happy...full and would recommend highly. Take the staff advice on selection and relax and enjoy. You must however choose the cauliflower!More

Beautiful Asian fusion food - great flavors and well presented. The Mongolian Beef and Fried Cauliflower were especially good. Good range of craft beers and interesting wine and cocktail list. What's not to love. Great night out at FuDog - highly recommended.

Do yourself a huge favour and book a table here! The food is incredible! Definitely have the cauliflower started. I guarantee that you have never tasted anything like it! The beef main was insanely good. The NZ made Sake is also a must have -...if you are into Sake! We will 100% be back when we are next in town.More

We went back to this restaurant after having been there 18 months ago and we weren't disappointed. The menu was great and the food delicious. The service was very attentive without being over-bearing and we had a great evening. Highly recommend

I have been dieing to try this place. Was not dissapointed. Best cauliflower I have ever had! Amazing flavors. Loved the chili oil also. The cocktails were delicious and so hard to choose!! The pork was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come back

Went for dinner and was fully booked, but the host handle to book a table for us after 8pm, we arrived and the stuff was super friendly and polite, we had drinks and few starters, dumplings & cauliflower fritters, both dishes were extremely well executed,...for mains we had, beef, pork, and sides of Asian green, well what can I said, every mouthful of every dish was full and packed of flavours, crazy and delicate combinations of textures & colours. The beef was superb, pork belly tender and rich, and the greens crispy and fresh. Compliments to the Chef and the kitchen team for that great food and effort to make customers experience memorable. 10/10 Customer service - every member of staff was attentive and friendly! 10/10 Food - was delicious, highly recommend the Pork Char Sui and the chicken wings! 10/10 Drinks - the barman made us a couple of bespoke cocktails that were amazing!
