Perfect night out

Absolutely brilliant ….. food was excellent, service was amazing which created a great experience all round. Dessert chocolate naan bread are not to be missed.

Will curry your favour too!

If you want somewhere to go in Wanaka where you know you can be guaranteed a great curry in convivial settings then look no further. The food is very well prepared and the flavours of the spices are not overwhelmed by too much chilli (unless...you ask for it!). The waitstaff will guide you skilfully through the menu if you need it. It's a place where you can relax and kick back knowing that everything will be just right. Go on, give it a try. Fantastic

Great service, very friendly! I had the Butter Chicken and cheese naan and it was delicious. I dined alone as here on business and the friendly owner even sat at table for few minutes with me for a chat. if you love Indian food, the spice room is a must

I absolutely love this restaurant. From the warm, welcome, the surprise, free, mulled, wine before the meal, the fabulous personal service and the excellent food. this has to be the biggest eating experience I have enjoyed in Wanaka.

Called in for something different. The friendly owners provided excellent service and we felt very welcome. Left the menu in their hands to ensure that we did not order the same old things. Outstanding food, easygoing friendly service

Eaten a lot of Indian food around the globe and this is right up there. Top notch cooking, great drinks list at fair prices, and good-natured friendly service. Amazing to find this type of place in a resort town, will be back many times.

delicious food and great service

Food was simply the best. My husband and I went there for dinner on winter time. We were welcome with a delicious mulled wine and sat by the fire place. Good dishes size for sharing if you are not hungry like us after one long...day of skiing. Great service and nice staff. Thank you guys for the cozy place and so tasteful food. AmazingMore

Had a lovely relaxed evening meal at The Spice Room; cosy warm atmosphere on a chilly winter’s night. We decided to dine-in and thoroughly enjoyed it; the restaurant also does takeaway options as many people turned up to collect orders.
