One of the best dining experiences we have had. So much thought and skill has gone into each and every dish with each flavour having a purpose. It was the first time we had dined at Ode for a couple of years but we will certainly return soon. The menu is based on the best available, seasonal, local New Zealand produce and it is exceptional. It was a warm summer night and...the doors were open to the balcony. This is a quiet restaurant. Unlike many modern, noisy restaurants, you can easily hear what your table mates are saying. Fabulous Friday night friends dinner with very delicious local / nz fare, delicious combinations of flavor very artfully presented yet unpretentious. Lovely atmosphere - somewhat wonderful unique vibe with superb staff / owner chef team..all in all very delightful evening.

We had a fantastic dinner last night at Ode Wanaka. We chose the 3 course Trust The Chef and very glad we did! Beautifully presented dishes all with incredible flavours. The Tahr Tartare was voted the favourite and was so delicious. Great service from all...of the staff too. A real gem.More
