We visited Eric's fish'n'chips in June. The wait time was 30 minutes and once received it was nothing short of disappointing. The chips were cold and soggy, the fish was also cold and uneatable. Excellent value for money and well cooked take-away fare. Fish was nicely cooked and portion size was generous. They threw in a couple of bottles of lemonade as we had quite a large order ( but was still under $100 for five people) Good place...to re-fuel after a hard day!More

This was the best idea we had after deciding to get up for a Roy's Peak hike for sunrise. So hungry! The fries had a good flavour and crispness to them and I got a decent piece of blue cod that was tasty as well....We had a deep fried kiwi as dessert as the lady at the counter recommended, but I have to admit I prefer the banana haha. Ordered two fish and chips. After waiting 35 minutes, got home and found only one fish. It’s not that hard to count to two, as it appears on the receipt that I paid for. I was so excited to get food from here. Being coeliac, I can hardly ever find chips that I can actually eat, as they're always cooked in the same oil as battered things. But here it doesn't matter! The fries were cooked in a separate...fryer, but all of batter that they use is gluten free so you can eat ANYTHING you want to! Amazing! The guy that served me was coeliac too so he totally understood. I had chips with cheese and ate it on a picnin table by the lake. Best lunch ever!More
