Yummy quiche. Classic kiwi cafe. Average service. Nice to sit outside in the sun. Cabinet food looked good. Pre-cooked fish chips and hotdogs available

Two of us had different quiches that were nice. Our son had a chicken and bacon hot pie? he like it so much he then had the chicken and cheese one. Staff efficiently handled the long queue. They were also very nice and let us fill up our drink bottles for our bike ride back to Ohau.

I went to the Twizel Bakery Café last week. They have a very very nice selection of food, snacks and hot drinks. But there was a quite tense atmosphere going around... Nevertheless many thanks again to the nice, helpful and obliging serving german girls who created a wonderful staying for me and my family. They helped us choosing the right food and could answer any questions we had. I will definitely come back because of them, thank you again!

Have bought stuff here in the past that has been ok, Today we dropped in and purchased 2 pies at around 12pm, Both the Steak and Pepper steak pies had the outside pastry that was rock hard, overcooked unfortunately and with the price we are gutted, only noticed it on the way back home to Point. No need to turn around as we’re on the road. Regulars at this bakery, very sad

The bakers had to come out in force today as a few people called in sick. What excellent customer service, Smiling and easy going, on their feet they moved with speed to help the long line of people waiting. Very impressed with the service and of course the ham and egg pie with a perfectly made cappuccino. A delightful experience overall. Oh... and the coffee was even brought outside to me at my table!
Thank you gentlemen for your dedication to the business and the customer.

Popped in for a coffee and Wifi. Had a tasty bacon egg quiche. I bet the pie is delicious based on the crust.
Wifi was good and plenty of seats with outlets if you are on the road and in need of a place to connect. The square outside also has free wifi, bathrooms, water refill and trash.

Good on you folks for making an honest, delicious pie. Pastry good, filling was perfect - you can actually see and taste a good amount of cheese which is a rarity these days. Custard cronut also good. Nice people in the shop too. Will definitely be back and recommend to all.

Great Cakes , Breads , Buns , Etc DISGUSTING Coffee.
Went there today . We had a cream doughnut and 2 Trim flat white coffees . One of the flat whites was actually nearly white lacking coffee. It tasted like hot milk . A complete waste of money . The barista may need a refresher course .

Waited in line for 15-20 minutes to order coffee. Staff were taking orders behind the food cabinets but I was RUDELY told to order my coffee at the till. When I finally got to the tills the staff continued to deal with the customers behind me, leaving me standing to wait.

This is an awful experience.
I walked in the cafe and asked this blonde waitress politely for a steak and mushroom pie. She did not even look at me when I was making the order, so I repeated it again. She nodded, without looking at me still, and grabbed a different pie. When I told her that’s not what I ordered, she asked suddenly “do you want another person to serve you”? I was quite confused and did not get what she was on about so just went “not really”. She replied in a hostile tone “then I will serve you”. She grabbed the pie and dumped it on the counter and walked away and never returned!
I was stunned and did not know what to react. Could not think of one reason of what I have done to deserve this kind of customer service.

Food is ok and affordable but the ambiance is everything but nice and welcoming. The staff is cheerful but ruled by a man who screams at them in front of the customers and from the back, shouting out from the kitchen and insulting them. Nobody should talk to people like that, moreover if they make the business run. I don’t recommande the place.

Stopover on the way down to cromwell, nice pies, delicious milkshake and beautiful caramel brownie. Young lady and gent behind the counter were eager to please. We've had a few bakery stops and this was worth a review

Group of 6 looking for a quick bitr for breakfast. Only bitw we got was from the bad attitude moody girl at the counter. We inconvenienced her asking for food and coffee. Worst attitude we encountered on our 2 week photo tour of the south island

A Great variety of baked goods, very clean, some things are abit pricey, but once you eat them it all fades away
