The Suka Bar's staff (Florence and her team) made us welcome and the choice of snacks from the bar menu was great value and very tasty. Thanks to Florence and her team for the beautiful goodbye song they presented to us after learning it was our last night at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa. We will cherish the memories.

The newly referbished Solis restaurant and Suka bar at the Sofitel on Denarau Island, Fiji is truly amazing. During our stay at the hotel we were able to drink and dine there with ease, at a reasonable price, and with a beachfront view over Nadi Bay. We managed to book a coveted beachfront Bure on Valentines day evening and caught the sunset combined with an unmissable 5 course detestation dinner. Our server Vara made the experience that much better, always with a friendly smile and equipped to answer any question we had. I would highly recommend a visit to the Suka bar and Solis restaurant if you are in Denarau, whether you are staying at the Sofitel of one of the other nearby resorts.

OMG what a wonderful experience we had today. We hoped on the bulla bus and explored. Then we found Justin at the Suka Bar! What amazing customer service. He organised the chef to make us a degustation that was not on the menu for lunch, he chatted with us and made us part of the fiji family. The food was SENSATIONAL the chef is a god. Go go go if you ha e the chance. See Justin he is the one with the bigest smile.

Meal started well, with very tasty Kokoda and Veg skewers to start.
Then we all ate fish for main - Salmon, Snapper and Mahi Mahi. All were dry, we were all very disappointed.
We had previously eaten fish at Vai (now closed) and Wet Edge, both were far superior.
Service was also minimal after starters were served, no offer of more water top up, further drinks, dessert, coffees etc.
All diners were Accor Plus members so we all got the 50% discount, and even at half price the food was not worth the money. Big shame.

I really doubt the other reviews are legitimate.
My wife and I just had dinner there.
Service ok. Cocktails average.
Tuna Carpaccio was not good.
Both of our mains (Mahi Mahi and Snapper) were overcooked.
Food is pool side cafe standard at best but charging like a fine dining restaurant.
At $350 this was very disappointing a shame because we were really looking forward to it and the atmosphere is good apart from being very hot without any fans.

Formerly known as Salt. This beautiful newly renovated area has come up a treat. Solis for dining and Suka for that quiet drink and snack with friends. Both overlooking the water, the food and ambience is wonderful. My favourite Lobster Ravioli is still on the menu which made me very happy !!! This space is ideal for a small beach function and you can be assured of 5 star service all the way Fiji style. Relaxed but professional, quality ingredients and value for money all wrapped up in one. Even if you are not staying at Sofitel, do yourself a favour and drop by you will not be sorry. Say hello and tell them Trudi sent you !!!!

Do you want one of the most extensive kids menu's I have ever seen, in a great location on the beach with lovely decor and amazing people? You need to hit this place up!
The manager (Justin) runs the place as his own and is well versed in great service in a child friendly atmosphere. He and his team are a major asset to Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa. They are one of two reasons we will be back!
Every server and barman was so attentive to ours and our 3 year old son's needs. Even when Jack was refusing to eat his food and we were struggling with the situation, we had staff trying to help by offering him ice cream if he finished his dinner.
Just one such staff member was Bete who was always attentive whenever we were there. Consistently ensuring we had everything we needed. He managed to do this in a way that felt like he was not there at all. I was amazed by his work.
Thank you Justin and The Team. You made Jack's experience in Fiji memorable and family time at lunch, dinner and beyond amazing!

We had my husbands birthday dinner with family at Solis. The service was wonderful, served by the gracious Helen. The food needs to improve, my husband enjoyed the steak, I had the paella...very average. If you putting dishes on the menu you need to understand how to cook with some authenticity. Travelers are sophisticated and we understand what food should taste like - I do a much better version. For the price point you need to deliver the quality - recommendation, match the expectation to the lovely venue and the view.

One thing I Love most about Fiji is the people absolutely love children and it’s 100% real. This night I took my wife to solis restaurant for her birthday dinner all the staff there are genuinely friendly and helpful. I had a great experience taking my wife to solis. They loved our 9 month old son and wanted to hug him a lot which gave me and my wife the little time to have with each other.
They sang the most beautiful birthday song I have ever heard and my wife felt so touched by it.
Our waiter Iowane was amazing and kind and went out of his way to help as much as he could even in arranging the birthday cake with my wife.
I give solis and all the staff that worked there tonight 17/01/2020 the highest regard I can and the owners should be proud to have such fine people working for them. I left photo of card just Incase I got his name wrong in the spelling.

Having been previously for pre-dinner drinks to Suka Bar where we had the most superb service and were thoroughly impressed, I was really looking forward to lunch at Solis, and they did not disappoint.
Scrumptious food, great portions and the staff were very courteous. Both my girlfriends had obviously eaten there before, and Justin remembered their preference with their last meal ~ impressive!
Food prices were quite affordable too, thank you Sofitel, I will be back!

Great views but not much else. Waited over an hour for our food (we ordered a salad and a burger so not a complicated order) with no explanation or apology. When our food did finally arrive we were disappointed further as it was dry and bland. When we received our bill we were asked if we were happy with our lunch and we advised that we were not happy with the wait or the quality of the meal. Again we received no apology or offer of a discount. Terrible!

Dined at Solis and service was outstanding. Servers were so lovely and attentive and we were offered complimentary bread upon arrival.
The menu was a nice selection of seafoods and meats, and was well worth the price. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, was excellent!

Awesome restaurant and bar on the beach! everything is so new as it's newly refurbished. The waitstaff are all so attentive and professional, super friendly and highly trained.
The cooks are really good and the menu offers a satisfying range of different options with a french cuisine influence. Lobster bisque entree and grilled lobster mains were super delicious.

We are staying at Sofitel Denarau for 7 nights and have eaten at Suka and Solis for lunch and dinner the food has been exceptional!
Lunch we have tried the pizza, roasted cauliflower salad, Mezza plate, club sandwich, and mixed platter of Indian bar snacks.
Dinner we ate Salmon with potato, buk
Choy and asparagus, steak and lamb rack. The kids have tried the club sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs and fish and chips - large servings!
The team there are so friendly! Loved seeing Kinny, Mere and Oni they went out of their way - very welcoming!

We has such a wonderful lunch here!! A special thanks to Sai who looked after our table service as its only his first week however his service was so flawlessly great that it was as though he’d been here a long time. Thank you to the bar team who made the perfect Pink Panther cocktail. It was well balanced and so refreshing on this beautiful hot Fiji day!! Thank you to the kitchen team too!! My husband and I ordered the chicken souvlaki gyros and the Softitel Club Sandwich which both tasted to fresh and the flavours were well balanced. The portions were substantial and the prices were very reasonable!! We’re so happy to be back in Fiji making memories on our honeymoon here!! Keep it up guys!!
