We stop here for pizza every time we are in Medora (at least once or twice a season). The pizza is always excellent and it was again this time. What concerned and disappointed me this time was considering the current COVID-19 issue. Before we decided to come to Medora for the musical I called and asked about the precautions being taken to keep visitors safe. I was assured that all possible safety procedures were in place. This restaurant was set up well with separate in and out doors, tables well spaced, plexiglas between cashier and patrons and the people in line were well spaced. After we ordered and sat down to wait for our food we saw that even though all employees had masks, all except the cashier and the gal cleaning tables, had them pulled down off their faces, just hanging around their necks. None of the people serving food and attending to people at tables had their masks on. That was concerning to me because of the large number of people from many places around the country that they interact with daily. Plus one server carrying a pizza in one hand (not ours) and coughing into his other sleeve. We felt that we were being put at risk. We are working hard to stay as safe as we can. We felt safer attending the Musical where there were many more people than we did here.

We ate lunch here on 7/17/21. Parking is tight in the area, and we ended up parking several blocks away. You order at the counter, find a table and they bring you your food. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the indoor seating area is very large. We had a large sausage pizza, a chicken caesar salad and two sodas. The total with tip was $44 which for a restaurant located outside a national park we thought was fair. The pizza and salad were very good and filling. We ended up taking 1/2 the pizza with us.
We would eat here again.

Clean establishment; really good food. Kids' pizza is big enough for two kids or one kid and one adult. Waffle fries are delicious! Cheese sticks with marinara are five wedges with cheese in the middle.
There was a big group of us (all ages) eating, and we all recommend this establishment. We will be back again!

We were there over the weekend and we're frankly shocked that the pizza servers didn't wear masks. I'm wondering what the logic is for that. At the pitchfork fondue, all servers had masks on. Come on, people! Just wear a freaking masks when you're serving food.

We ordered a pizza for takeout. It was ready when promised and was delicious! The restaurant has outdoor seating and the tables inside are pretty well spaced for social distancing. If you want a delicious casual meal in Medora, you must get Badlands Pizza!

Nice, big open restaurant to eat dinner. The price is good for what you get! Lots of good pizza and food. If you need gluten free, just ask the person you pay to put an order in and you can go get some.

We were staying about 20 minutes outside of town, so decided after lunch to pick up a pizza to take with us so we could hunker down in the rain that evening. We ordered wings and a taco pizza to go. The wings were good and a decent value. The pizza was also decent, though we had two "wishes". First, packets of taco sauce came on the side - would have been great if that was already on or the sauce instead of the regular red sauce. Second, maybe we should have asked for the lettuce to be on the side to add on top later, as it was wilted and kind of gross by the time we got to it. Fresh, crisp lettuce would have been great. But for the size and amount of toppings, it was a good deal, especially given pricey restaurants elsewhere in Medora!

One of us thought it was spacious and safe given Covid and all that, while the other of us thought it was dark and expensive. You cannot get individual slices, so we got a whole pie and boxed up what we didn't eat and microwaved it the next night in our hotel. Overall, given that we had been walking around Medora and were tired, it was a good choice; would give it 3½ rating if allowed.

The pizza was fantastic! COVID precautions were in place by the restaurant and staff. Customers don’t comply but the restaurant can only do so much. We wear masks to be safe and respect others. We ate outside and the server who brought our pizza was nice. The cashier was surly but I won’t let her attitude affect my review.

The pizza here is above average, good tasting crust, sauce and lots of cheese! We eat here every year when we come to Medora. I commented that the root beer was too much carbonation and not enought syrup, the manager tended to it immediately and came to my table to let me know it was fixed, now that's service!! We did not have to wait long for our food. The servers could have a friendlier attitude.....

Really surprised to find interesting Pizza in Medora. During summer/tourist season/Musical season they're pretty busy, but we're still able to enjoy dinner before the show. Pizza was good, service friendly.

You order when walking in the door. The person taking our order was very friendly. The inside of the restaurant is super clean! The house salad was very good. Plenty of fresh vegetables on it. I would definitely go back again.

A nice family option in the middle of Medora. Pizza was decent, salads were good. Wish the service would have been more hospitable, would have rated the experience 4 stars instead of 3.
We dined at 7:15 pm and the staff was so noisy in cleaning up around us, moving tables and chairs loudly. They were due to close at 8pm - no need to make people feel pushed out at 7:30!

We went for pizza while we waited for rain to quit. We were there while every family in Medora with small screaming kids was there as well. The place was noisy. I couldn't hear myself think. We ordered the taco pizza which was really very good. It had a tasty, well cooked crust and toppings were perfect. You order at a counter so it was a bit of a hassle to get a second beer.

Badlands pizza was a great place to eat. They have various types of pizza which are delicious and the salad was fresh and a very good. The price for the buffet makes it the best deal in town. We would highly recommend it.
