Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I try very hard not to write one star reviews, finding any redeeming factor I can, but I just cannot find one redeemable thing to be honest. After a long day hiking, my husband and I decided sandwiches sounded like a great quick option, and...we headed over to the rocky mountain deli, where I got a prosciutto and mozzarella and he got a classic turkey. First of all, my sandwich was around $12, and my husbands was around $11. For sandwiches. I know there is inflation going on but when you spend over $20 and look at see two small sandwiches inside the bag, it's not a good feeling. And that's the thing is they were not those sub sandwiches you can maybe get a meal or two out of-they were the size of sliced bread. For $12. We took them back to our cabin, as the restaurant was small and very dated, with wobbly tables and pictures straight out of the 90s. I bite into mine to find it nearly inedible. The prosciutto was cut so thick my husband thought it was ham. Prosciutto is meant to be melt in your mouth thin, due to the connective tissue, otherwise it becomes very unpleasant. The mozzarella was just sliced and barely existent, and besides that there was a leaf or two of lettuce and some oil which drenched the bottom of the to go bag. I thought well, I paid for this, let's see if I can at least crisp it up in a pan in our cabin and eat it like bacon then. IT. SMELLED. LIKE. FEET. That exact smell when you take off your sweaty gym socks kind of smell. It stank up our cabin, was immediately thrown into the trash, along with the $12 from that meal, while I tried to find anything else in the cabin to satiate my hunger. My husband did not have the same bad experience, but it was simply turkey and cheese between two pieces of bread, nothing more and nothing worth $11. Do not waste your time and do not waste your hunger, there was better sandwich shops in the region that will actually be worth the price you pay.More

We came here based on the recommendation from our hotel. We ordered sandwiches to take into Rocky Mountian NP for a picnic. The owner was very nice and the sandwiches were delicious. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich which had a good kick to it....These weren't boring sandwiches at all.More

It’s a small, unassuming place with limited indoor seating. The sandwiches are delicious. The chipotle chicken sandwich was particularly awesome.

Rocky Mountain Deli right next door to Key Bank and Escape Room across the street from Visitors Center. The size of their sandwiches are big enough for 2 people to share, I highly recommend Turkey Avocado toasted! Also, they carry real Mexican soda made with...cane sugar in a GLASS, not plastic container. Prices are very reasonable , under 10$ for a huge sandwich. They also plan to resume doing a fresh salad bar once more restrictions are lifted. Make sure you ask for Antonia, Irina or Zioda when you are there. Cool people serving great food. You can order to go sandwiches for your park hike with them. Delivery is available with their partner Warrior Delivery. Highly recommend!More

We stopped by to get lunch to go before entering Rocky Mountain National Park on New Year's Day. My family and I preferred to buy local rather visit a chain (Subway). Sandwich pricing is in the $10 range and I was pleasantly surprised they had...sourdough bread as an option. I had a turkey avocado sandwich on sourdough which was good - tasted like the materials I would buy & build for myself at home. Sandwich size is as another poster pictured. Not huge, not small... just typical size. I only wish I bought a second one for lunch as the locals do say you need more carbs at such high altitudes and although I was ok, I could have used it for a long day in the park. Chip selection is rather limited with 4-6 options available: plain Lays potato chips, Cheetos, Doritos and one jalapeno flavored option is what I recall. I elected for the Cheetos while my kids got the Doritos. There is a decently stocked salad bar available and sit down tables area available. The restroom is very clean for those with little ones needing a pit stop.More

A little hard to find, but within walking distance of visitor center. Great sandwiches, small shopwith only a couple tables and not the friendliest atmosphere. But if you are looking for a substantial great sub, this is the spot! I can see wait times getting...long if they are busy because it is a small operation.More
