Love it so much, the food is yummy, and the Lunch set is affordable. Must try to eat here.. and we surely will come back.

Best Japanese Restaurant on Saipan! Big portions, reasonably priced and quality ingredients. Must ry their Gyoza, Gohan and Shrimp Tempura.

As Saipan now has only a few Japanese visitors so most Japanese restaurant are not so good. But this place still has good tempura, and beef dishes

Furusato is located near the center of the pedestrian walk, Paseo de Marianas in the heart of Garapan and it is definitely worth a visit. This family owned and operated Izakaya style restaurant features a wide assortment of menu choices including yakitori, sushi, sashimi, ramen bowls, udon noodle dishes and plenty of other plates suitable for sharing. A night spent at Furusato is a fun and easy way to feel like you're visiting Japan. The prices here are reasonable and the service is efficient as well. A great casual eatery with good Japanese food.

The service was poor—even by Saipan standards. After ordering our dinner, we waited 30 minutes to be served our drinks. Even then, we had to flag down the staff ti ask for our drinks. Food came about 15 minutes later (45 min wait). I ordered the tempura udon and my friend got the beef short rib bowl. My udon was a bit bland. My friend wasn’t satisfied with his meal either. I recommend going to Umibozu next door or even Garapan restaurant.

great food and service.!!! I have selected several items from menu and seems that I could not go wrong with what ever I have ordered minute I walked in to this restaurant I knew I was in right place for japanese food because all I saw was japanese people and they were local japanese. well maybe korean. I could not tell difference but place was great and I recommend this place to everyone.

The main reason why we went to this izakaya was the stir-fried goya (bitter melon), which actually tasted nice and hit the spot. The rest of the dishes (soba and seaweed ochazuke) were just average in taste and presentation.
We had a couple of Japanese beers with our meal.
The staff was friendly though and efficient. The atmosphere was spoiled by a loud customer who stopped by just for a drink, but there was not much the staff could do about it.

Although we have never entered Furusato, we have eaten their food which is offered at the Thursday night market.
There are many vendors to choose from, but the food from Furusato stands out. Great deal, Great price, Delicious food
