Fab nite

Great atmosphere with wonderful service from all staff. Fabulous pizza but a warm toastie gas fire. Will definitely visit again. Thank you

Nice place to sit and relax

Stopped in for a drink and an afternoon snack. Luckily it was Happy Hour which was a bonus. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. We had drinks and a bowl of chips, and as it was a bit chilly the heaters were on outside...which made sitting there pleasant. Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is that we didn’t have a meal but will be back in the future.More

Relaxed with great staff and a good vibe

We spent three rainy days in Franz Josef and came to the landing three times. The staff were always pleasant and the food was great. They let my 5 year old play pool and even had shorter pool cues for kids. They also had a...little two player SUPREME branded arcade we got to challenge each other at one evening. To top it all off… we left Fran Josef and headed up the west coast only to discover days later that we left my daughters raincoat there. I emailed and they quickly responded and shipped the jacket to us in Nelson. Really above and beyond graciousness. Give them your money!More

Amazing!

The best place to go to ever. We stayed a weekend in Franz and ate here for every meal. The staff were outstanding, absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond for us. The place is set up perfectly for kids, the kids were so happy...and we had the best time. I highly recommend for anyone!More

Wet days ,warm service

Staying at the Rainforest retreat we decided to venture out and found the Landing .We were not sure what we would find in COVID times but the service on every occasion was warm and inviting . The food was good and the Happy hours great...valueMore

Over Priced

Location is lovely. Staff are a bit sullen but food was good although over priced along with the drinks.

Great dining experience

Fantastic food and value for money

Stopped at The Landing for lunch and would definitely recommend. We had the chicken schnitzel and the warm lamb salad- both were extremely tasty. Staff were very friendly and attentive plus great ambiance

Great place for drinks and to people watch

Went here a couple of times for drinks on the corner of the main road, seemed popular among the locals, good place to sit with a drink and people watch.
