Stopped for breakfast and bacon came cooked only on one side. I asked if they could cook other side. Never had that before in my long life. Bacon came back barely cooked 2nd time and I could not eat it.

Good place for a reliable lunch/brunch when in Tairua. The chowder was excellent and the burger hit the spot.

We went for a light breakfast and then returned later for lunch the same day. The service was very good and the meals excellent value. Breakfast was a light tropical fare but included everything we needed. We shared the roasted chicken salad and mussel fritters...between the two of us, it was delicious. We sat outside, beautiful day with a light breeze but there are seats inside as well. Pity they’re not open for dinner, we probably would have gone back the same day - we of course were on holiday.More

Stopped here and had afternoon tea. Great cafe in tairua. Great location right next to the playground. Very well set up.
