Struggled to fine somewhere open for food on a Sunday evening and remembered passing this place and reading something about it in Lonely Planet. Firstly the choice of beers, many brewed on the premises, was very good and then the food matched it. The mussels...More

Quaint little pub with lovely garden and plenty of parking and neighbouring shops. Great choice of beers and wines. Pizzas and snacks enjoyed by the whole group. Definitely worth a visit when in hahei or back from the cathedral cove hike.

Inside it’s not that special, but the garden is real nice, food is good (we had a wonderful cheesecake) and staff is friendly.

Hi Marc, the building is made with either recycled and local products and built by local tradesmen and craftsmen. Glad you liked the garden, the brewer used to design gardens in the UK. A talented guy.

Description
A small boutique brewery below the radar. we don't pretend to be anything fabulous just a little eatery located in a beautiful part of the world. we make all our food fresh daily and although the menu is limited is cooked especially for you. The beers are all made in the same building and if you are lucky you can chat with the brewery whilst he is working!
