First tried these burgers when the guys were down in Wellington for beervana. Was gutted when I realised their home was actually the coromandel. So when we had a holiday up there a visit to Serial Griller was top of my list. Glad to say...the burgers tasted just as good as I remember. A very easy option if you're staying in or around the camp-site. Superb southern fried chicken burgers, and the beef patties were given the thumbs up by others in our group. I was even tempted by the vege option - spicy black bean & feta...cheese patty, even though a confirmed meat eater. Burgers $14-17, so not that cheap but definitely superior to the usual fast chain offerings, and there is a kids menu too. Fries - tick, sauce - tick, not greasy - tick, free jalapenos if you want a little burn - double tick. Seating available (with a bar in a container next door in season too). Even if there was a cheaper McD and a KFC on site, I would choose Serial Griller every time.More

This is located in the Hahei Holiday Park. We were staying outside, but tried this place based on reviews. We had wonderful chicken burgers here. Smiling service and moist, filling and fulfilling burgers! We had the chicken option and the hungry family gave it a...big thumbs up. Great for takeaway or to eat on the bench in front of the cart ! If I want a burger in Hahei again, I will definitely go here.More
