Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited Good Food while on an island tour. We were seated quickly, even though the menu was read out to us. It was easy to follow and remember. We were there on a Wednesday and were informed that the oil down was served on...Thursday. We were sad we would miss it, but we ordered roti instead. I chose the lambi (conch meat) roti and I am so glad I did. The portion size is very generous and even though I thought I would not finish it, I managed it and enjoyed every single bite. This is a hidden gem in Grenville!More

This restaurant operates in two nearby locations. I have eaten at both sites and each time the food was amazing and the staff was extremely. The smaller location is on the main street with a few tables. The larger location is a short walk away...on the top left heading from Grenville. If you are lookign for a good local Oil Down, this ia a good spot. I have saved thir business to reserve my Oil Down next time I am in Grenada. The only downside is that Oil Down is only served on certain days and it sells out quickly. I had a fish dinner at the smaller location and that was excellent. I also tried the roti and while I have had better it was very good. The prices are also very affordable.More

Must first explain that there are two restaurants close by with the same name. I went to the larger restaurant which is newer, and it is past the smaller restaurant but on the opposite side. I ordered a Tuna dinner meal, and I was quite...pleased with it. It was served with rice and beans, a salad mix comprising of lettuce, tomato, peppers, string beans, potato salad, and sweet potato. The Tuna Fish was moderately seasoned, but it was appetizing. My friend and I were the only customers there but we welcomed the very quiet atmosphere. We were only interrupted by the friendly host, who seemed to be the owner or manager. We sat inside of the restaurant, but we had the option of sitting on the shaded patio. It was a good experience, and I would not hesitate to return.More

It was thirsty work climbing up the road to get there but a cool drink went down well. A great place to sit and people watch if that is your thing! An easy walk down to a busy market and street venders. Can imagine it...could be a cool place to eat in the late afternoon. Would not fancy going there after sunset!More

Very good local food at very reasonable prices. Service was friendly and prompt. We were there for lunch and got good sandwiches but the Roti looked amazing - wished we would have ordered that.

If you are looking for delicious savory home cooked style Caribbean cuisine, look no further than Good Food. This tiny restaurant, while slightly off the beaten path, certainly lives up to its name!

Our fabulous tour guide took us seriously when we said we wanted to experience local cuisine and dropped us off here. Incredibly authentic, tasty, and reasonable. One of the best moments on our cruise. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with us and the...food was divine. They had no cold beers so went out to pick some up for us. 10/10More

Not sure what I expected when our courteous taxi driver Oliver stopped us here for lunch. But we were left speechless by the wholesome nature of the food, and the ridiculously cheap cost (for us foreigners) of the whole meal. Breaded mahimahi (that's fish -...dorado), with the works - they call them 'provisions' here: callallo, plantain, breadfruit, garden salad, macaroni, rice and peas - I'm sure I'm missing something here - washed down with a cold Carib beer (in my case) and local ginger beer (in my wife's case). Total bill: EC$88 or US$34. Seriously!More

Stopped in on our way to a waterfall hike. Food was great! We had curry chicken roti for lunch and they were great. A little weird as an American to see chicken on the bone in a sandwich but the flavor was really excellent. I'll...go back next time I'm on the island.More

Upon arrival, the restaurant owners were polite but not particularly personable. We chose the national dish - chicken-saffron based broth with pigtail, bread fruit, green banana, plantain, and chicken (other stuff too, but I can't remember). It was DELICIOUS! The owners quickly warmed up when...they realized we liked their cuisine and were raving about how delicious it was. The whole time the dear woman was just concerned about our experience and wanted us to enjoy her food. We will be back!More

We found this place 8 or so years ago. We were in Grenville looking to get something to take up to Grand Etang. I saw Good Food and that said it all. Parking is harsh but you get served quick. The menu is on a...chalk board and it is all fresh authentic Grenadian food. Cheap and delicious, carry-out. Would definitely recommend. I go there every time I am in Grenada.More
