This was a last minute decision but so glad we came. Our food (Tuscan starters and steaks) was totally delicious and the whole meal was great value. What’s more the outdoor seating has a lovely view. Such a great find!

In these times where the going is tough in the tourist industry also in Tuscany this restaurant keeps its head up high and the mask well placed. Applause. The menu has some limitations but evertything available is fresh and well prepared. I love the grilled chicken. So well done and the moisture preserved. I call for all visitors especially those from abroad to respect the rules and wear a mask. Just a shame that the staff and management have to ask some guests several times and some keep refusing. It is well stated in various languages at the entrance.

Antico Borgo is a beautiful find which is tucked away in the Tuscan countryside. This is a family run restaurant and the owners and staff all give such a lovely welcome that you feel part of their family too.
The food is traditionally Tuscan and I can recommend as a starter the baked pecorino with truffle [delicious!] and my husband particularly enjoys any of the chinguale dishes which have been expertly created. I love the truffle pasta or pigeon, but you really can't go wrong with any of the dishes! The house wine is a lovely accompaniment to the meal while you enjoy the amazing views and delicious desserts. I heartily recommend this restaurant.

A small and non pretending restaurant. Great food, very reasonable prices and very nice people. You can really eat her cheap if you want, but we took the Truffle Pasta and some good meat. Also one of the better wines of the menu. Still, prices are very reasonable. You feel like family here, very authentic and very friendly staff. Can highly recommend this place. Would certainly go back.

Absolutely stunning view and great food! Came here with my friend and the food was so great - easy to accommodate vegetarian diet without modifying the recipes. The view overlooking the valleys is breathtaking, and there is a big parking lot when entering the town. I definitely recommending going out of your way to visit Antico Borgo!

Booked in for family of 6 (inc 11 and 9 yr olds) for dinner on a Monday evening. Beautiful setting, amazing food - house wine was very nice. Even made spaghetti bolognese off menu for our youngest. Fab place - highly recommend.

We’ve been going to Antico Borgo for many years. Set in the beautiful village of Iano and with amazing views Antico Borgo is at the heart of village life. Great traditional Tuscan food, good value and great quality wine, it doesn’t get better. I highly recommend Antico Borgo.

Always an excellent evening at Antico Borgo; we’ve been coming back for the last 14 years which says it all. The atmosphere is relaxed and we had a choice to sit indoors or outside. the delicious food is typical Tuscan… we had steak with rocket and Parmesan and the cheese with truffle! The staff are so friendly and the welcome you have is wonderful… thank you Sandra and team for another wonderful evening.

Possibly because I had eaten ice cream in San Gimignano not lone before we got to the restaurant, my appetite was somewhat reduced. I opted for Caprese salad and sliced flank steak with arugula and shaved parmesan cheese. Good choices; I really enjoyed my meal. The service was attentive, friendly and competent; the ambience agreeable. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten track, but it's well worth driving to.

A very nice last minute find, on the way home from a trip to San Gimignano. We called on the way and they accommodated large table of 10 quite close to kitchen closing time (other restaurants seemed less keen). Food and service was great!

We’ve been visiting Antico Borgo for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The restaurant has retained its family run feel. The dishes are typical Tuscan cuisine and are delicious. Service is relaxed and perfect for an afternoon or evening meal. Views from the outdoor area are breathtaking, Iano is a charming one street hamlet. Despite its size there’s ample parking in iano. Another thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Once again we dined at Antico Borgo. Why again? Because having dined there for 17 years it always exceeds expectations. The menu is typical Tuscan and the food quality excellent. The restaurant own Chianti is very good value and very enjoyable. The family always give a warm welcome. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I have a vacation home nearby and this is our go to restaurant. The food is delicious. My favorites are the baked pecorino and the grilled chicken. Everything we have had has been delicious.
There is a beautiful outdoor area with views of the landscape and sunset.
But what makes this special are the people!

The most amazing experience! I called to set up a surprise anniversary dinner for my parents. The team was so helpful and accommodating, they even wrote my parents a little anniversary card.
My parents had a wonderful time and said the food and staff were absolutely amazing! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Great restaurant in a small village nestled in the hills of Tuscany. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and courteous. Felt like I was having dinner and nonna's. Highly recommend.
