Beautiful, cozy and delicious fresh baked bagels and scones. We went multiple tines during our visit to seward. We were planning on trying different places everyday but we felt in move with this place, the staff was super friendly every time, we tries both of their salmon and cod smears with the everything bagel and chipotle honey bagel. We also had the lemon and lavender scone and the rose scone, my husband tried the cinnamon roll too. Everything was delicious and you could tell is freshly baked and cooked there.

Wonderful little coffee shop that rivals ANY coffee shop back home. The lemon lavender scone was delicious and fresh, the coffee was just right, and I loved the community feel of this shop. Excellent!

This is a local gem, and is the beating heart of Seward's artistic scene, especially in the winter. You should definitely stop in and get a coffee, and try out some of their locally made baked goods. The upstairs has views out to Resurrection Bay, and is a great place to come in and dry off and warm up if its raining. The shop is also full of paintings, stickers, books and more from local artists. Definitely THE place in downtown Seward to go and get coffee.

Beautiful place with interesting jewelry and art. I asked to purchase 8 chocolate chip cookies to bring back to friends. Gal at the counter paused then went to talk to Mgr (I guess). Mgr glanced at me. Gal came back and said "we can't sell you 8 cookies because there won't be enough left for other customers". Huh? Are you a business? I was surprised and said "okay" and left without buying anything. Not sure what's going on here but I won't be bringing anyone there on future visits.

Hi there! We just wanted to clarify this policy. We make all of our pastries from scratch every day, so we only have so many available. We ask individuals to put in a special order if they are going to purchase more than four of a single item per person. This is an attempt to keep our display case full until a little later in the day. We are really happy to fulfill special orders!

Busy Busy But Great, is our title for this review. The place was crawling with a lineup of all kinds of people waiting to put in an order for their coffees. We were very hungry and there were no pastries, no sandwiches, only a small tray of fresh cookies that was left over. And the place is extremely busy crawling with people, and you could find all kinds of comfortable little nooks and seating places upstairs and around by the fireplace. Tall gallery style ceilings, must’ve been an old church or an old school house as the furniture was quite unique with pews for seating areas. It was the end of the day, but we entered and grabbed some freshwater that was sitting in a corner with clean plastic cups. Trays of dirty dishes were hidden underneath for people to place their used mugs. Overall, the experience was long to get our hands on a cup of coffee, and we were very hungry too, but the overall experience was pleasant and we felt like we were surrounded by interesting pieces of art that was for sale. The wifi didn’t work!

We stopped in about a half hour before closing for a late afternoon snack and found the pastry cabinet empty - not even a crumb! Fortunately the art made the stop worthwhile. I picked up several cards from local artists. If you are looking for food, be sure to stop by early in the day.

This place is really beautiful. The artwork displayed is great and we bought a small painting. We went at 2:00 looking for a late lunch but unfortunately, they had very little left from breakfast. Would be better to go here early.

Our favorite coffee shop in Seward! The pastries and coffee are both great, the shop itself has such a cozy, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and there is great art and gifts to be found! Highly recommend stopping by here if you're in Seward!

This was a cute building with art and souvenirs for sale inside. There were several locals and visitors hanging out inside, upstairs, and outside (or grab and go). There are sufficient tables. There was a long line, and it's obvious this place is a staple! It took about 25 minutes for us to order and receive our coffee (Saturday around 1130 AM). There were at least 4 staff members working behind the counter. It was just THAT busy, not a matter of staffing needs. There are board games available for play. The white chocolate mocha with whipped cream was great! The staff was nice, but definitely seemed to perk up more with their friends/locals (understandable). This would be a good stop for a cold, rainy day to hang out a bit. Masks were recommended but not required.

Best coffee house ever. Wonderful pastries, perfect coffee in the most inviting, creative, colorful, homey, and family-friendly environment imaginable. Relax in what used to be the choir loft or sit in converted pews. Warm and friendly.

I was really looking forward to this place because a combination cafe/church/gallery is very appealing. Upon entering I noticed what smelled like urine and I thought maybe the restroom was by the door but it wasn't. We perused the art work which was nothing special and then proceeded to go and get something to drink. There are plenty of coffee choices but not much else for those who don't drink coffee or tea. There was a small food cabinet but it was practically empty. We did enjoy the overall atmosphere though - very chilled out and a great place to come and catch up with friends I would imagine. There is also a loft with a gorgeous chandelier and no doubt great views. With a bit more work this could be a fantastic place.

The refurbished church-turned-coffeehouse has a great visual appeal. The coffee tasted good (iced vanilla latte) and the workers were friendly. There two small things to fix. One was that they were out of ice, so they could only make one of our drinks. Sorry hubby, this one's for me. ;) The second was that they use paper straws, and five minutes into my walk down the street, I couldn't drink through it anymore. Bummer!

This is a charming coffee house set in an old church. It has unique decorations, plenty of seating, local artists’ work, and overall a vibe not found in chain coffee houses. A Seward special. The coffee was on point and savory and sweet pastries too.

This is a gem of Seward. This cozy little place had the best breakfast and coffee that was also unique. Friendly staff and so many local artisans treasures. This stop was definitely a treat! So glad we found it!

Ok, so let's all admit, that you can't go into a shop or restaurant in Seward without someone's art being for sale on the walls. It's a great, local scene and let's hope it's beneficial for the artists, too, but to call the Resurrect Art coffee House an "Art Gallery" of sorts, is a little bit of a stretch. Hear me out...it was a really neat setting and great atmosphere, especially with the upstairs loft and possible workspace. AND, if I can give them extreme props, the Coffee/Drinks were top-notch! And the staff was fun and attentive. A really great artsy atmosphere, but more of an upscale gift-shop than Art Gallery.
