The best place you can choose if you don't keen on waiting a lot of time for your dishes. I can advise you all of the super delicious pizzas and the real homemade pastas (especially the homemade pasta with sea food)😊. Absolute winner!

wonderful night

We had a fantastic time, the food was delicious and big portions too, we had the beefsteak with vegetables which was finger licking in taste.. the staff was amazing, overall a wonderful experience! Best meal in long time. Thank you :)

Here you can eat very well, especially local delicacies. Of course also very good seafood. Ambience is great, although slightly more upscale not more expensive than others in the place. Great view of the harbour and at sunset you can see exactly into the "gap" of Vela Luka. I didn't photograph the food because of the evening mood.

I have NEVER written negative comment to any restaurants, this is the first time but today have to do it ! We are 4 adults to have our dinner in this restaurant. The ordered tuna steak and chicken were totaly solty (we like solty foods, but it was really uneatable). We informed the waiter and asked to bring back to teast and confirm it with the chef. The chef said it is perfect, he do not care with our claim at all. I was supprised to refuse our claim, but asked the waiter to pay and leave without eat the meal (it was the same waiter, who bring me wrong meal instead of my real order, but that time I accepted the swiched food, only highlighted this issue to the waiter. Othetside the food and service was correct. It happened two days before. I supposed it was a one time issue to give them a second chance, that was my big mistake...) After it I asked the waiter to pay that amount that he feels like correct... It was the full amount of the foods... Repeat, I have never commented any negatives in internet, you could check it. So, consider to visit this restaurant, I do NOT recommend it. BR.: Peter Majoros.

Very bad experience

I went with my family for lunch. The food is at the level of a bad student canteen, but the prices of course don't follow that low level of quality. We ate fried squids, fried obviously in old, burnt oil (my son and I burped on it the whole day), the chicken my husband ate was almost raw, the sausage inedible...the only thing that was good was the burger. For that type of food and that quality, it was way to expensive so we really left with the bad feeling. The sea view cannot compensate the big discrepancy between prices and quality of food.

Service (5 stars) Ambience (1 star) Food (2-3 stars) Value for money (2 stars) The food was OK, but far too expensive. The fish was already 24 euros, and then without any side dishes. Then there were additional costs. The two of us spent 60 euros, and that was for a salad, a soup and a fish, with a side dish. The ambience was not good at all, far too bright. We went to the restaurant because the Google rating was so good. I can't recommend it and won't go there again.

Best in town

While staying in the lovely Vela Luka for 6 days, we only ate here. That says it all. Fantastic well presented meals made with passion and skill. Great value for money also with very good house wine. The staff, especially Mijo, spoke great English and were always welcoming.

We have been coming to Vela Luka for 6 years and keep coming back to PodBore. For us, the service has always been the best. All dishes are absolutely excellent and of the highest quality. Guests' wishes are always taken into account. Even in high season, you won't be pushed away from the table! Thumbs up, all around a great restaurant, highly recommended!

Lovely fresh fish

Excellent sea food platter for 2, full of delicious fresh fish. Lovely wine and very friendly staff. Lots of places to eat in the area but I’m so glad we chose this one.

Great food and service

Enjoyed lunch here while visiting Vela Luka. My partner had the fish and I enjoyed some ribs. Perfectly cooked and staff was super friendly and spoke english well. Left the restaurant super satisfied.
