Excellent food and amazing service

We ate Mexican and Dalmatian food. All the dishes were superb. Fish (Orada) was cooked just right, blitva was perfect, the mexican food was tasty, obviously using high quality ingredients with well balanced flavours. The house wine had a rich bocquet, well above what we would expect for the price. Bepo pancakes were excellent with a surprising oriental twist. The host/owner was humourous and attentive, and has a really good taste in music. All in all, best value for money we've had so far on Korcula.

So amazing!!!

My family and I came here and we are amazed we already reserved for today again. My wife is vegetarian and she enjoyed her food which is very rare in restaurants and it’s kids friendly, waiter made them laugh gave them candy and let them play with dog also they have kids menu and great and specific desert Beppo. All the food that we ordered was fresh and we could see that nothing has been prepared before, it’s delicious and premium quality. This restaurant is even shown in Austria as the best restaurant in Croatia and Island Korčula and we heard a lot about it from excellent food to excellent service. Definitely should visit for all types of guests( vegetarian, kids, dogs...)

Excellent food and top quality wines

We visited Beppo yesterday evening as we've heard a many great things about the restaurant and we like Mexican food. We went for quesadillas and tacos (the youngest member of our entourage had capacity for the Beppo desert which he ate with chopsticks :D), and the food was very tasty. You could tell they use top quality ingredients for their food. We had Korta Katarina Posip, and the owner treated us with grappa, which was very nice of him. I've read here that some people whinge about wine prices, but the restaurant only offers the best, award-winning wines, so if you're a wine connoiseur and love a good bite, you must visit Beppo! Make sure you book a table beforehand as they are very busy. We'll be back next time we're in Vela Luka!

We came as a group of five and ordered 5 chicken burritos and fajitas. The food was decent but for the price and given the good reviews we expected much better. Also the owner/waiter was unwelcoming and seemeed quite irritated that we ordered "cheaper" options on the menu. Would not eat there again as there are many better options in Vela Luka.

Horrible food

Avoid at all costs! Food here was sub par for it's price - namely chicken fajitas which were just a blend of some veggies and chicken strips quickly sauteed on pan and seasoned with store bought Mexican spices mix, whereas tacos were absolutely horrible, bland ground beef which was probably made earlier that day and some suspicious veggies in store bought taco wraps. We also ordered extra sauce for tacos which turned out to be plain sour cream, two whole tea spoons of it at 20 kn price! We felt robbed and hustled as it was quite expensive. Please avoid this place so you don't have to suffer as we did. As I'm writing this, both my gf and me have some stomach pains which also indicates about the quality, or lack thereof, of the food.

Unfortunately big fail for us. The food was tasteless, we ate it cuz of the hunger but didn't enjoy at all... We ordered the beef beppo burrito and it was made of 5 stripes of beef and the rest was chicken... The price is too high for what we got. Big mistake in our case, but go and try it yourself.

Worth every penny

Our friends went here everyday for past week and they were amazed with food and service so we decided to go for it . Service is friendly and welcoming, food is amazing and very fresh and most importantly environment is clean, very nice and interesting decorated. Since we went there we haven’t eaten anywhere else. You should go and visit!!😊

A nice Mexican surprise in Vela Luka

My partner wanted seafood; I love Mexican. We both got what we wanted at Bistro Beppo! The chef couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, and he gave us a couple of complimentary bits as the meal progressed. Good food, beside the harbour. I’d Be more than happy to eat here again. I went for the fajitas (chicken/beef), my partner went for the tiger prawns (which, in honesty, were more like langoustines but no less delicious for it). The tortilla chips are homemade, with a little hint of honey I thought. Delicious with dips. Overall, good value. I’m still sat here, with a complimentary grappa which is making me worry about walking home easily!

Excellent family restaurant

Owners are amazing, very friendly and positive! The staff speaks a couple of languages very well and the menus are translated into many languages as well. Food is great, flavourful, fresh and portions are good! Mexican dishes are made with a lot of vegetables, also you can spice it up as much as you like. Speaking of drinks, variety and quality of wine is fantastic and they make great margaritas! Recommended for sure.

Terrible wine at extortionate prices

We visited Beppos with friends. We just wanted a drink and we’re shown to a table. We ordered two glasses of white wine and two glasses of red wine expecting normal house wine. When the wine arrived, the red was terrible and I couldn’t drink it. We asked for the bill and we’re shocked to be charged around 10 euros each. We checked the menu and most of the wine you could get 2 bottles for 19 euros. There was only one very expensive section at the end with this wine. We feel we were ripped off. When we complained they laughed at us. We will never be back and would encourage others not to use this restaurant

We usually go to restaurants that offer some sort of traditional menu depending on where we are. But we happened to see this restaurant, it looked very interesting so we ate here once. This is our first time eating at a Mexican restaurant. But we realized that they also have Dalmatian food on offer. so we preferred to choose dalmatian fish.The food is ok. Prices are affordable. The staff is friendly. And the ambiance is very nice. I think this is the only restaurant in Vela Luka that also offers Mexican food. So you know where to go if you are looking :)

Fantastic Beppo!

If your summer holidays get you to Vela Luka, don't miss out on checking in at Beppo. The place is tastefully and cheerfully arranged, the host is pleasant and funny and the food makes you want to eat all your meals there, during your whole stay. Just like Oliver sings Trag u Beskraju, this restaurant will leave a lasting memory of your summer stay in Vela Luka. I recommend it!

a perfect dinner at Beppo‘s : shared beef burrito as starters, delicious, fresh, perfectly seasoned, not too spicy, right on point. Followed by a rumpsteak with wonderful crispy wedges, wife had an orada , as she said ‚the best so far in Vela Luka‘… wine selection was orange wine „Macerator“ by Galic Croatia 2015 - absolutely delicious! It is as most guests wrote before, probably the best wine selection in town in a restaurant. To sum it up : Beppo is a fantastic host, food and drinks delicious, we stayed a lot longer than planned. Our absolute recommendation !

Me and my friends had lunch on a lovely Thursday with perfect sunshine at the beginning of October. When we arrived at the restaurant the chef was welcoming us and joking around together with us. The first impression was so far so good and we felt nothing less than to be welcomed as friends and not as guests. After we took a look in the menu, we asked, if it’s possible to get the dishes separated for 3 persons and it was of course no problem. Good beer, delicious food and a sympathetic waiter and chef. What else do you need to have a great day. Only stuff that is left to say, thanks for the food and for the good time. Always again!

A hidden gem

We found this hidden gem 10 minutes outside Vela Luka centre. We was 3 couples, all eating Mexican food as quesadillas, burritos and homemade tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa. The best salsa I've ever tasted ♥️ All of us was more then happy with everything, including the service. A very nice break from pizza, beef and burgers
