We decided to eat a Veronica’s basically due to the location on the main drag. If there’s a breeze you’ll find it here. It’s centrally located at the front of the old market and is at the epicentre of Kampot night life. The food is...good without being exceptional and the service is similar. We had no complaints and enjoyed our two meals of fish. I had the salmon and the wife had some other fish with ginger (I think). They were both excellent. I’d go back to Veronica’s any day and can recommend it. It suits evening dining when you can sit up high on the raised area and survey all the madness around you.More
Daughter, 14, selected this restaurant for the balance of Khmer and western food, and it was perfect. Staff lovely, beers freezing and toilets lovely and clean. Would go again but we like discovering new places
i was there early evening, noisy from all the other places around, just 3 more guests, big clean space, 1 fat smoking guest with big belly just drinking drafts, indifferent staff. ordered chicken amok for 4.75$ & 1 glass of red Eschenauer for 3$. the...amok tasted fine, but small portion for no-cheap. after finishing food, i moved to close place, where 1 glass Eschenauer is just 2$. not sure whether i will return to veronica's...More
This restaurant is right on the River with the most amazing atmosphere and so reasonably priced given it location.. The food is a great mix of local and international.. We went for 2 local dishes and were not disappointed.. The best part though was the...cocktails as I had a Cosmopolitan and it challenged some I’ve had in London.. Visit this place as it will not disappoint!More
Travelling in the group of 7, we all loved this place. Local food was fresh and delicious. Western versions ( sandwiches etc) were OK. highly recommended if you wish to try local; cousine. Also one of few places to fulfil our request when we asked...not to have any sugar in coffee/ juices etc.More
Nice clean restaurant. Only stopped in for breakfast but it was very enjoyable. The bacon and hash brown were so good. Nice owner and reasonably priced
Ducked in here to avoid the rain and ended up staying for food and drinks both of which went down well, a nice mix of western and Khmer food. Relaxing atmosphere and decent WiFi. Really nice and unobtrusive staff.
Went straight there right off the bus and the service was good the beer was very cold and refreshing food was pretty nice, not the best in kampot but ok!!
You pay almost as much as the better restaurants in the big city. Too bad, because the food is really good. The penne with mushrooms and chicken was delicious!
