Sushi was not good. Spicy tuna has ground meat. Rice and ground meat nothing else. Just not very good.

We haven't visited in a long while, happened to be in the area, and stopped by. It still is family owned but now by Chinese family. Food is still decent but not as good as we have experienced many years ago. I would be skeptical...ordering sushi or anything uncooked here. Any tempura is great! The soup could be hotter though. I think they also may be slowing down since their next door neighbor beauty salon school closed or went out of business.More
The only down side was the minimal English but we thought the food was great. We all ordered the hibachi dinners. Soup was flavorful and dinner meats and veggies was of good quality.
Bringing my daughter to Jacksonville for upcoming interview, suggested Sushi for dinner. Though rated high upon walking in found us to be the only ones there for our entire experience. Food was mediocre and service was less than spectacular. We will not be back.
We were just spending the night nearby and discovered this little gem. The Sushi here was as good as anywhere I've ever had good sushi!
I loved it. I went to another restaurant with a friend but ended up at Sake Sushi unintentionally and so glad we did. The appetizer was the best appetizer to date. I can't wait to go back and do the all you can eat!!!
This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. My wife, our daughter, and I came in around 6pm and there was only one couple in there at the time. We both ordered the ayce menu and everything we ordered was terrible....The edamame beans were under cooked and hard. My daughter will usually eat two bowls by herself and barely ate 10 beans. I ordered chicken fried rice and my wife ordered the chicken hibachi and the chicken was dry and chewy. We got our sushi rolls and tried at least two pieces from each roll and not a single roll was good. The service was terrible. They refilled drinks one time and when they noticed we had stopped eating they avoided us for at least 15 minutes before I said something. The lady walked over and said what's wrong and I told her nicely that nothing we had was good and she argued with me. She said no no no this is all very popular. Everyone likes it. I said it didn't matter if everyone liked it we didn't like any of it. I said it is what it is. I would just like the check so we can leave. She brought the check with an extra charge because we left food on the plate!!! Of course we did because it wasn't good. I was so fed up at this point I gave her my card so we could just leave. When I was signing the receipt she had the nerve to walk by with sushi another table ordered and said see look everyone likes it. They ordered it. I was astonished and asked for the manager I was told I could call tomorrow to talk to him. Stay away from this horrid place with terrible food, horrendous service, and no care for the customer.More
Had sushi and hibachi, was all very good and great price! Definitely recommend. Atmosphere was good. On left side of bldg. past woody's.
My friend and I went here for lunch on Tuesday. We both ordered the three rolls for $10. I had spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and the Alaska roll. Within a few hours I was sick. I texted my friend and he got sick as well....It is now Wednesday night and I have not fully recovered. I love sushi and am only writing this because it worries me that we both got sick and I don't want that to happen to anyone elseMore
Not only were the sushi rolls (3) great - Rose, Ginza, and Spider, the presentation was "over the moon!" The service was very good with a very informative server. If word gets out. . . it will be hard to get a seat and this...restaurant!More
We came in 11:30 am both times twice this week just before the lunch rush. The restaurant overall looked and smelled clean (tinge aroma of bleach); likewise for the restroom areas. No sticky tables. Clean floors. Excellent service: courteous, well-trained, & attentive staff on both...occasions. They frequently checked on your needs and refilled your water. Food was outstanding qualitywise and well presented in white ceramic square or rectangular plates. Soups were nice hot (not scalding) just right. Teriyaki & tempura temperature right out of the pan. Sushi was fresh and prepared nicely. Everything tasted great. Food rivals that of Japantown in San Francisco. Portions are generous.... you won't leave hungry. Reasonably priced; great value (10% off during lunch). As long as they continue the quality, service, & cleanliness we'll be repeat customers.More
Glad we finally tried Saki Sushi. We LOVE SUSHI and we try to find rolls that are different and unique and Saki Sushi has some wonderful rolls. Not like other places that say they have sushi and everything is fried, that is NOT sushi. There...buy 2 get 1 free is really a great deal.More
I have traveled to various places around the world to include Japan. This place is authentic and brings back memories of learning about the special people of Japan and their culture. My husband and I enjoyed our date night visiting with the locals, enjoying some...spirits and the food. Don't miss out in enjoying this hole in the wall place near Baymeadows.More
We visited on a Tuesday night. We expected it to be slow, and it was with only about 6 people in the place, but we were still made to feel like we were bothering them. As we were somewhat but not totally new to sushi...and the menu didn't have much information about what was in the various items, we had to ask. My wife is allergic to shellfish and a wrong choice can have severe results. The waitress kind of huffed and puffed, then walked off. The manager came up, and while she did provide the needed info, she was quite brusk about it. As we were already here, we went ahead and ordered. The sushi was just OK with some of the textures being off. The tempura however was over breaded and very greasy so we didn't finish it. We won't be back.More
My food was undercooked and the waitress barely speaks english. Will not go back a 2nd time. It was very quiet but I would prefer Fuji sushi since its right up the street
