Family of five dined here before a show. We had no more than 75 minutes for dinner, and the service was very good and the expediting was spot on. The oysters were very good and very clean. The Kir Royal and other cocktails were properly mixed by the bar. The Harissa Salmon, Pork Loin, and other dishes had very good flavor. The two pescetarians in our group were very pleased with the many options. All in with tip the bill for five was $440, with three drinking alcohol. I am glad to see that Chicago has a Fig & Olive, and we will check that out.

We had reservations for breakfast and arrived early. There were only a few people in the restaurant. The hostess was not friendly at all. Someone asked what type of water we wanted but it took about 10 minutes for anyone else to even offer coffee. We had a 3 year old with us and needed to order food. After we ordered and began eating we realized that the whipped cream for my granddaughters French toast hadn't arrived with the order. We could see it on the counter where food was prepared by our server was not available to ask for it. People around us that arrived after we did got their food before we were able to order. The food was good but the service was terrible. I had to get up and find our server to ask for a check. Not a good experience.

We had dinner outside and had a wonderful, relaxing meal. Started with excellent cocktails and then had the rosemary shrimp pasta. Cooked perfectly, and the portion was ample. Service was excellent and all cleanliness and safety precautions were followed. You can scan a code at the table to get their menu online, and payment was also contactless. We look forward to returning soon.

Very nice place for casual and standard quality food. Price are ok for the quality they deliver, the service was good and friendly. The ambiance was nice and cozy The food taste good but if they would use better and authentic ingredients (like real parmeggiano, porcini mushrooms etc etc) the food would taste excellent, and they will deserve a better rating. Nevertheless you can eat good and receive a good service

The room is divided around a bar with options for seating. Seating is comfortable and there was reasonable floor space between tables. Our server and the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. The menu includes meat and meatless selections and serving options. The meals were well prepared distinct with flavors and textures evident without being over-whelming. We had plenty of time and little interruptions to socialize and enjoy the dinners.

A group of 7 of us had dinner here recently. The table reservation service did not allow bookings of more than 4 people, so we booked two tables, and the staff cheerfully combined these when we arrived. Excellent service and food, with good cocktails and wines. The burger is outstanding, and large enough for two people, and everyone was impressed with their food. The wine selection is wide ranging and well priced, with a very good selection by the glass. Service is attentive and friendly, and the ambience is friendly and relaxing. An excellent choice for a casual evening ..........

We stopped in around 4:30 pm which was an hour prior to our reservation but they were able to accommodate us. On the advice of our server Daniel, we ordered the Crostini as an appetizer and it was amazing, especially the caramelized onions and goat cheese. Our entrees were just as exceptional - a truly great dining experience in NYC.

Our luncheon experience could have been much better except for the insouciant and inattentive waiter. It was to be a quick lunch before a trip to the Whitney museum, a lunch which ended up taking way too long. Perhaps the waiter was waiting for one diner to finish their mess of a burger. It was overpriced and oversized and inedible. Recommendation to the restaurant: trim the size for lunch and the price and serve it on a plate instead if a bread board. That way the diner can cut it, eat it and enjoy it without making a mess of themselves and the table.

This restaurant was suggested for lunch with a friend who lives in NYC. Excellent choice! Food selection was interesting - not run of the mill. The Mediterranean influence was obvious. Among us we were able to sample several items and they were were all well prepared, had an interesting flavor and a good presentation. Was not that busy at lunch so we were easily able to carry on a conversation among the three of us. Service was average.

FIG & OLIVE is a beautiful restaurant located in the meatpacking area of New York City just one block from the High Line. The host staff was quick to greet and seat us and our server, Christian, who has served us several times, came over right away to introduce himself and take our drink orders. They have a delicious cocktail menu. We have tried the Cucumber Cosmo, Lavender Fields, the F&O Espresso Martini, but my favorite is the Fig and Olive. Really, you cannot go wrong with any of their cocktails. We decided on the Prix Fixe menu for this visit but ordered the Riviera Crostini as an add on, as we have had it several times. There are three flavors, but I would highly recommend just getting three of the caramelized onion crostini, especially if you love caramelized onions. They are delicious. The beef carpaccio, which is not on the regular menu was one of the best I have ever had. There parmesan cheese shavings sprinkled all over the dish but there was also something added that gave each bite a slight crunch (dried shallot maybe?) that pushed the dish over the top. Our two main dishes were Mafaldine which is described as: Mushroom Ragout, Black Truffle, Mascarpone, Grana Padano, Rustic Breadcrumbs and Spicy Lobster Spaghetti. They were both amazing, but the Mafaldine was the clear winner. It was rich in truffle flavor. Based on this visit and many other visits we have made to this restaurant I will be awarding 5 stars on my reviews.

This calming, inspiring restaurant is absolutely outstanding. We came here with family for dinner and were super impressed with both the food and the staff. The cuisine is upscale Mediterranean (try the lemon ricotta and the salmon), with portions being decently sized without being humongous. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive. Everything was lovely! The restaurant itself is welcoming.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Got greeted at the table by the water guy instead of the waitress which was odd, especially as we had a query about the menu and wanted a wine list to review. When the waitress finally arrived we queried why there was only a brunch menu when clearly it was well into the afternoon. We were on the verge of walking out but we eventually ordered the tuna sandwich which was fine and a salad, which again was just ‘fine’. Food arrived very quickly (sandwich a little dry so not made to order we suspect) but we then had to wait ages for the wine which ruined things slightly. Poor menu choice and poor service means we won’t visit this chain again despite being frequent visitors to NYC.

This is just a short note. We heard about this place in the elevator at our hotel and tried it. So good to see a place done right. It was at a busy time, but everything worked. People vote with their feet - no one forces them to go to a restaurant, and this place was packed. But there is a kitchen on each level and the food came promptly, and excellent.Staff was friendly, efficient, fast, no wasted time or confusion. Place is bright, airy, clean, well lit.

Fantastic seasonal menu. Not a place you want to pass on the bread....the warm bread is tasty. Great service! Very attentive! Aligned with NYC Covid protocols we were asked for our vaccination card and then seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious as is the bar area. And there is even outdoor seating for those that prefer to sit outdoors, some of which are little tented house-shaped structures.
