The Lotte New York Palace hotel is an exceptional hotel in so many ways. Part of what makes it special is the Pomme Palais, a quaint boutique bakery in the hotel. Sure, they have fantastic gourmet coffee, freshly baked muffins, croissants, quiche, and other items. What separates the Pomme Palais from other “coffee shops”, is not just the plethora of breakfast and lunch goodies, it’s the staff there. I have been staying at the Lotte for many years and noticed that the staff working at the Pomme Palais are consistently cheerful, responsive, professional, personable and a joy to interact with. They recognize each customer not just as a patron, but as a person. They interact with customers - smiling, asking about their day, while at the same time fulfilling orders and keeping the line of people moving. Regular customers are referred to by name, and the specific orders of repeat customers are remembered. Even the chefs go above and beyond. Rafri, one of the chefs, went out of his way to help us with a special order before we left early in the morning. It’s clear that the staff at the Pomme Palais – Arleni, Mark, Victoria, Deborah, Andrew, Samvel, Carlos and Rafri – are extraordinary people, and they all play an important role in what makes the Pomme Palais a “must visit” when staying at (or just stopping by) the Lotte New York Palace hotel.
Also, a huge shout out to Stacy (front desk) and Alexandra (front desk manager) for being so cheerful and helpful during our very early checkout. All smiles and wide awake well before sunrise on a Sunday morning.

Pomme Palais is wonderful for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. The food, coffee, lattes, etc are all really good. The bakery products also are really special. It’s quite popular, too. Tops is their service - Mark, Victoria, Deborah, Sam, Andrew and Carlo are great! We usually buy something there every day when we’re in NY.

Arleni is the reason why I go to Pomme Palais. She is always very attentive and extremely nice. Mark also makes a difference with his smiles and amazing service and he makes good coffees.The food is ok but i go back more because of Arleni and Mark.

Amazing coffee and outstanding service from Debora, Sam, Mark and Arleni everytime I go there! Their crafted lattes are the best especially pumpkin spice lattes!!!!!

Coffee is better than Starbucks! The breakfast and lunch items have a wonderful selection from healthy to decadent. Eat your treats in the spacious lounge across from Pomme Palais!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. I ordered two coffees, a scone and a mini crumb cake/muffin. They were quite tasty and the coffees were very good. It is located off the lobby of the Lotte Mew York Palace.

I can only comment on the coffee. I got an Americano and it was practically undrinkable, which is a shame, because within 5 minutes walking I got some amazing coffee at Maison Kayser.

One should not leave New York City without getting some pastries from Pomme Palais! The cheesecake is phenomenal and the chocolate eclaires are divine! Bravo!

I had to make a quick stop for some light lunch in the middle of my trip. I was staying at the Lotte New York Palace hotel, so the location was really convenient. I tried their chicken salad, and it was a small portion, but of excellent quality.

Thankful I read reviews on TripAdvisor and knew to make it a point to stop in... beautiful little shop with the best ever iced coffee! On a hot summer day we chose from a multitude of bright items and took them up to our room for a great afternoon respite. It makes no sense that the iced coffee seemed better than elsewhere...but it was. I chose mini eclairs and family had a decadent brownie and sleeve of cookies—all delicious. Definitely hope to return to this hotel and would look forward to treats from Pomme Palais again.

Back home once more to see my family from The Palace!
I forgot my stress from the trip as soon as I saw sweet Clara saying Welcome,your room is ready, Olga,Sandy,Thereza,Lincy("take a chocolate,you must be hungry",so sweet and she was right),
Diego,Rene,Kal,Dalmasi,Ani,Joseph,Lorena and Ned.
Later on I met Julieta,Melody, Susan,sweet and lovely always.
My feeling was of family reunion.
I just arrived and no worries,Matt,Brian,Ray,Tom,George,they took the luggage and I only saw my"stuff"again in my room.They are awesome!Thanks Lewis and Lorenzo too.
We immediately went to Pomme Palais,the best team and the best cappuccino ever.
Arleni,Mark,Cris,Laura,Carlos,Veronica e Antonio,what could be better?Do you know?They have the best soup in the city(I keep the secret because it goes so fast).
First day in our nine days stay, we met Becky,"the best" for many years,always nice and helpful.
She told us about Gold Room new concept, food to enjoy and share.It was wonderful .
Think about a very happy hour with gourmet finger food,really beautiful drinks,famous and not famous people laughing and enjoying the Gold Room.
Alan Choi,a very gentle manager and Hector a great server.
In these days, everything we need they delivered and the room was clean and impeccable.
Thank you,Kam,Gladys,Galina ,Cristine.
Miles, my "favorite"manager, always nice!
Cormac,new great plus to the team.
We miss our friend Samir.

On the first floor of The Lotte Palace Hotel, Pomme Palais offers a fresh, quick, delightfully delicious option to the more formal Villard Room for breakfast. Open all day, one can enjoy a savory or sweet along with coffee, cappuccino, or latte.
I enjoy the turkey/spinach/cheese/mushroom crepe.
Dine in (in the lobby bar area) or take-out to your room or on the run to your next scheduled event!!

Tucked away in a corner at the Lotte New York Palace hotel we found this delicious bakery. We had croque monsieur and later went back for cafe. Delicious!
