We visited here after visiting the 9/11 memorial pools and museum. When we arrived it was very busy but we were spoken to by a staff member really quickly who told us it’d be about a 30 minute wait. We were happy with this as we could see it was busy and my Mum was hoping to see their memorial book on 9/11 anyway. Despite how busy it was we were served very quickly at the bar (only $4 a draft pint!) and no sooner had we sat at the window to drink our drink a table was ready which was a lovely surprise! The service was quick and the wait for food was reasonable considering how busy it was! The food was delicious and the portion size was very good (not off puttingly big like some places). The mozzarella dippers were the best I’ve EVER had! The prices were exceptional really for such an obviously popular place so we felt we had very good value for money. I’d definitely recommend O’Haras to anyone and can’t wait to visit again one day.

Great service and fantastic food. Everyone was very friendly who worked there and made sure to clear our plates off table when finished and refilled our drinks. Would visit again next time we are there in New York

Had lunch here for second time, we started with a Manhattan clam chowder and then had the shepherd's pie and a burger...soup was flavorful and fresh, pie could have used more spices but burger was very good. The staff at the bar are super friendly and will take good care of you. Very reasonable value as well.

Finally, a great local Irish bar. No BS just good old straight drinks and food. We had a couple of burgers that were cooked right, nice char on the outside and warm and juicy on the inside. The beer was great and a cool wait staff. Just be aware of the Wall Street nerds.

The staff were very friendly and we grabbed three starters to share for a quick lunch after a morning of exploring the area. Chicken tenders were great and the mozzarella sticks were incomparable to the ones you get while eating out back in the UK. Different level of cheese pull. Even the BBQ sauce and marinara sauces were lovely. Only negative is that a service charge is included in your bill, rather than leaving the tip up to us. We did, however, provide an extra tip on top as the food/service was so good

We discovered O'Hara's on our previous visit to New York City in 2018, and knew that if we visited Ground Zero, we were return. There's a kind of reverence in the air when you walk into O'Hara's and see the wall of first responders patches from all over the world, knowing that this restaurant/pub saw the horrors of 9/11 and has been there for the local first responders. On the other hand, it is a crazy loud fun place to meet up with friends and have a good time!! Each time we were greeted and seated quickly. The staff is friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our beers and sandwiches (burger for him, tuna melt for me) and fries. The servings are generous and the food is tasty! We'll be back!!

Very good food with excellent customer service. Food came quickly along with drinks. Staff will ensure you enjoy your meal. It's a very short walk from the World Trade Center. Make sure you ask to see their 9/11 book which was custom made with some touching and memorable pictures and captions. If you are part of any emergency service make sure you take your agencies badge with you. We felt honored to give over two badges from my friends to take their place amongst the 1000s that are already there!

Does what is says on the tin.....We tried to book (they don't take bookings at the weekend), so had to wait at the bar, no problem. Got a tblel in 20 mins or so, and the place had a great buzz.Wings hot and crispy, burger was good, could have done with more seasoning, service was good.....Would 100% go again...

Being in the area for an upcoming tour, we had spotted O’Hara’s after some research into the area and of course, its link to 9/11. Even before midday, the place was bustling and filled with customers and of course the iconic badges of emergency services from around the world . We were asked to wait for fifteen minutes, which gave us an opportunity to have a drink at the bar. We ended up talking to the manager who is a really funny and friendly person and helped flag down a server to take us to our table. We ordered a Philly cheese and a BBQ chicken sandwich, both of which were absolutely delicious and served in a bagel-style bread. An absolutely brilliant experience just for the sake of sitting down and soaking in the lively atmosphere and rock music.

This little gem of a bar was just around the corner from our hotel and was our first port of call after a lengthy flight. O’hara’s provided a warm welcome, great food and reasonably price beer before our exploration into an amazing city. So good that we returned a couple of days later to watch the Super Bowl. A credit to the city.

It was spilling down rain so any open door was going to be welcoming. But more so in this fine establishment. There was a lunchtime queue for food, which is always a good sign, with a 5 minute wait time. The gent who seated us was smiley, laughing & witty. The waiter was speedy & smiley. Food was wholesome & plentyful. Aside from the good food & great staff, there was just a wonderful vibe around this bar & Restaurant. It was homely, the restaurant was buzzing, the bar was alive with friendly chatter & laughter and it was easy to see the staff were happy in their job. And this was just lunchtime!!! I need to get back to O'Haras just to sit at that bar and let those good vibes sink in.

Stopped here yesterday which is just a couple days after they were able to reopen from COVID closure and spirits were high with that fight attitude. As we sat my wife and two kids and I this guy who was a partner or something came to our table, made us feel like family and share their 9/11 book with as they were at the heart of it all. Thank you so much. We will always come back. If you are in the area there is no better place to support. He really made the visit. Thanks again

Having read about this place I really wanted to like it. Sadly, while the bar and the memorabilia are fascinating, one member of staff was extremely unfriendly. We went in the first day, there was a nice atmosphere and the barman was friendly. We just had one drink as we were on our way to our hotel a short walk away. We decided to go back in the following day and sat in another area with a different barman. We'd heard him being extremely rude with another customer, she was just asking a question about the menu. Again with another lady asking if she could take photos. Then he was the same with a few others. We asked about moving seats and again, a very cold and blunt response, there really was no need. As we sat, it seemed that the people who appeared to be regulars were treated with open arms, the rest of us, not so. The waiter who kept bringing our drinks however, was excellent, everything brought with a smile and a friendly attitude. The food was ok, nothing special, stopped us being hungry for a while. Its an interesting place, I knew about it's history and would have loved a wander round. Instead, I stayed seated, feeling like I would be frowned upon and in the way. Really disappointed, sad to say. And a shame for the other staff members we encountered as they seemed lovely

Awesome little pub in an historic part of New York. Really friendly welcome and service from all the staff who clearly take immense pride in the pub and rightly so. We had a few drinks and the atmosphere made you feel like you were in a locals bar in a small town not in the heart of downtown Manhattan. We were given the memorial book to look through which was moving and heart warming and showed the integral part this pub had in helping to rebuild. Will be on the list for a pit stop every time we are in New York and will make sure to try some pub grub next time as the food looked very good.

Burger was served pretty fast, it was delicious and there were a lot of good beers to choose from. I was given a small glass to taste before I choose, and that was much appreciated. I would come back if there were not so many other places to see in few days!
