TripAdvisor Forums told me this was the place where local get their Italian pastries and since it's open 24/7 we stopped in after a late dinner at Regina Pizzeria. It wasn't crowded but there were several other folks in there after 10 p.m. so we...More

We were in Boston over the weekend, and on Saturday evening we went to Bova's for Italian pastry. We ordered a zeppoli with ricotta and a mini lobster tail. Both were to die for. The aroma is wonderful as soon as you enter the shop....More

On a recent 3 day trip to Boston, we stumbled upon this place. Went twice the first day and each day thereafter. Authentic, incredible selection, great staff. The cannolis are simply the greatest decadent yet cheap eats treasure a human can devour. And it’s open...More

Here as a tourist, it was my last day and I still hadn't eaten Boston Cream Pie. Ended up going to this place on the corner, and wasn't disappointed! As an FYI, they have a $5 minimum to use card, but you'll definitely be buying...More

We usually have our desserts to Mike’s Pastry, but from now on Bova’s will be our favorite bakery. Is not a fancy place so don’t let the outside of the building scares you. There is a lot of choice, no line and the things are...More

This is my favorite cannoli place in the North End. Great variety of flavors - I am partial to the dulce de leche - and super fresh and creamy. No refrigerator taste here! Nice people too.

Ya I know, I know. Mike's! Modern! NO! BOVA'S! Truly this place is the North End's secret best bakery! Try the Creme Brulee Cannoli and I promise you'll scoff at those other two cannoli shops forever more.

Bova’s is open 24 hours a day. If you want pizza, calzone, pastry, bread, cookies this is the place for you. Still an old world bakery/ deli in the heart of the No. End.

Great sandwiches, pastry and pizza. The food is always fresh and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church

Bova's is an institution and open 24/7. You will need to take your goodies elsewhere to eat. Try the Greenway when the weather is warmer.
