The man started handing us random bakery items over the counter. "Here, try this! If you don't like it, we will sell it to someone else, haha!" So authentic, so italian. a MUST stop. We bought $20 worth of pastries and left happy!

This is a must stop for us every time we make it to Boston. We love rainbow cookies and cannot get them baked fresh at home so we sometimes even stop here again before we go to the airport to head home. This time we...More

We visited here on a recommendation to try the Canollis. Firstly it is a take out, no seating. It was hard to know where the queue started and ended as people just sort of clustered in the shop. The young lady that served us was,...More

I went their Saturday evening and bought cookies and dark chocolate covered macaroons. Fresh and excellent!! They have a sign out front announcing they now serve “subs”. Inside was a table with a variety of delicious looking subs laid out on a table. They were...More

I love Boston and have lived nearby my entire life. For decades it has been a family tradition to go to Boston's North End. And always our trips include a stop at Bova's. Walk by the crowds on either Hanover or Salem Streets and you...More

Can't go wrong with the pastries here, I love bakeries but I hardly ever go and this place may have convinced me to make it a more regular stop

As tourists we had to complete our own Cannoli Wars between the 2 more well known bakeries and Bova's. On a whim, I thought I would try a traditional filling with a Florentine shell, something I had never heard of before. They were out of...More

in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s

Bova's is an institution and open 24/7. You will need to take your goodies elsewhere to eat. Try the Greenway when the weather is warmer.
