Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had bottomless brunch this past Sunday with my husband and some friends. We are undoubtedly coming back again and again!
For $25, it's a must! It's not buffet style, like others on here have mentioned, it's small portions of tapas, mini tacos and small portions of entrees. It's pretty genius actually.
Order a few things, then the server will come back and ask if you want more. You get 90 minutes total. Between the four of us, we tried a lot of the offerings. Everything was fantastic...every.single.thing.
Drinks aren't included in the price, naturally. We all loved our cocktails as well.
I had two Bloody Marias with Mezcal...unreal!
The staff is very organized and friendly. Emilio J was our server and he was just wonderful!
I'm so glad that a friend told us to check out the brunch. Five stars!

First time visiting and we were sold. The Cadillac margarita really packs a punch, the Mexican meatballs were unique and very tasty, and the chicken chimichanga was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will return.

We were in Brookline and had our Burro Bar ordered delivered via DoorDash. The food and cocktails were terrific: I especially recommend the Cholo Corn-essentially a street corn-and the house margarita. DoorDash was a bit slow, but we were still pleased with our meal.

eaten here many times and loved it but yesterday was very disappointing. ordered two tacos. the chicken was ok but the steak was lukewarm and tired. the cole slaw looked and tasted old. it was my first time since the renovation and maybe it was a new chef or just an off day. but I'm going to avoid this place for the time being.

I loved the vegetable enchilada here. Delicious, with a lot of veggies and large portion. John, our server was awesome. Friendly, and provided great service. There’s a separate bar area. The decor/art work rocked it.

Stopped here while in Boston celebrating a friends b-day. Been here before and have always enjoyed it. We all loved the spice El Diablo margaritas. Sat around the bar with other friends joining us later. Great service and nice atmosphere inside.

Not Mexican. Not special. Food descriptions are great but flavor is generally lacking. It’s a watered down version of actual Mexican food. Drinks are good. Eat elsewhere. Drink here.

My husband and I joined a good friend here for Sunday Brunch. It was amazing! We all ordered the Bottomless Brunch Margarita option. For $21/each, we enjoyed all you can eat for 1.5 hours. We also enjoyed several PINEAPPLE MANGO MARGARITA - $12/each. We enjoyed the CHICKEN QUESADILLA with tres quesos, chipotle aioli; PANCAKE with crushed almonds, maple syrup; SHORT RIB “DOUBLE STACK” - crunchy + soft tortillas, tres quesos, napa cabbage, beef carnitas, poblano + onions, Mexican crema, cotija; CRISPY "BAJA STYLE" FISH savoy cabbage + jalapeño slaw, baja mayo; GULF SHRIMP DIABLO guacamole, mango + habanero salsa, pickled red onion; BURRO BENEDICT -poached egg, ham, home style english muffin, hollandaise sauce; FRIED SHISHITO PEPPERS -crushed fried garlic, pickled shallots, sea salt.

A co-worker selected this and we had a fabulous dinner. The chips, salsa and guacamole were outstanding. I also recommend the street corn. My short rib double-stack taco was delicious. Everything was flavorful and the textures were wonderful - thick crunchy chips, tender soft tacos. This was a delightful surprise. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and entrees.

Went here for lunch with friends and our kids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was plenty of space to park our stroller by the bar on a Sunday afternoon. I had the michaelada and it was so good (think the bloody of beers). I wanted to get the cravcrcrab cake benedict but they were out of crab cakes so settled for the shrimp tacos which was tasty. The corn deconstructed was delicious though a tad spicy. I wish there was a changing table in the unisex bathroom but other than that would go back.

This S. End restaurant is nice to have in the neighborhood. Agreed that the mostly male Spanish-speaking staff is friendly and pleasant. But also lacking in efficiency. 2 out of 3 of us waited over an hour for their food, though we specified that we wanted our 3 items brought together to the table. The manager refuses to give out the restaurant's wifi password, not sure why and no explanation for that. Lastly, the music was very loud and the staff weren't able to reduce it to a reasonable level. grrrr. Some decent food items but the other negatives were one too many. Burro Bar had been highly rated to me.

Lots of pluses for dining here. The interior redesign is amazing. Very warm and welcoming. Big bar, comfy seating (a little too close together, but whattyagonnado?) and a small menu which always makes me happy - because what they do...they do right. Front door greeting was great, waiter was great...maybe a little anxious to keep things moving at his speed, but it all worked out. Margaritas are amazing, appetizers all looked good (I had the chalupas). The short rib double stack taco and the blackened mahi mahi taco were fantastic (a little less sauce would have made them sublime). Dessert was just okay. Burro churros. Coffee was delicious. I'm definitely going back. Big plus - they take reservations AND they have valet parking!
