I've been a customer here for years, but lately it has been uneven. I like the fish and chips, the salads are generally well made, but recent menu changes have removed one of my favorite dishes (tuna burgers) and now, they're charging extra for french fries. I had a reuben that was nearly all fat, after years of getting good sandwiches. The soups are creative and in general I like to go here, but it's starting to be very expensive for what you get. The restaurant is usually quite busy when I go there, and service is generally good.

My wife, son, and I had lunch a Pajarito in February 2020. The food and service were great. I has the Green Chile Stuffed Pajarito burger and fried pickle chips. Both were fantastic. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and my son had the Southwest Green Chile Philly Cheesesteak. The bartender was our waiter and was very attentive and helpful. The only knock is that they do not actually brew their own beer. However, the had a good selection of beers to choose from. Highly recommended!

We were wrapping up a visit to the nearby National monuments and stopped in for a late lunch. Our server Ayla was both personable and professional. She saw our local maps on the table and asked if we had any questions about the area. We felt very much at home. The selection of beer is quite extraordinary ; the lemonade with fresh basil and mint refreshing and delicious. Both entrees, fajita chicken salad and Rueben with truffle fries were well presented and satisfying. I am rating our experience 5 stars for the combination of service and food quality.

Although I was grateful to find a place open ( this is as the only place open at 8 in either Los Alamos or White Rock!), this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We ordered the Caesar salad with anchovies and the shrimp with vegetables and fettuccine in lemon caper sauce. It was in a box on the menu as if it was a specialty. The pasta was grossly over cooked, and the dish was swimming in a disgusting lemon broth. The salad was served at the same time as the entree, missing the anchovies. To get the taste of the lemon “soup” out of our mouths, we asked for bread. Instead of receiving a roll or other dinner bread, we received what appeared to be Texas toast with caraway seeds! Gross and bizarre. The hostess and waitress were sweet but completely untrained. At the end, we felt we would have been better off to have eaten fast food.

Los Alamos is not a food mecca. There are relatively few food choices and Pajarito grill is one of the best. I would describe it as upscale pub food and they have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, wings and more. I had the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich, which was very good, others is our party had an impossible burger, the pulled pork sliders (a big hit), the sidewinder rueben (very good) and the truffle mac and cheese (our 4 year old granddaughter gave it 2 thumbs up)

Excellent food. Lots of basic options here, but the quality and twist on some of the items are top notch.
Lots of beers to choose from, something for everyone.
Service seems disorganized and slow. Orders do not come out in the order for which they were taken at a table: if you order before another table, it is not necessarily coming out first. When in bigger groups, the time from the first plate coming out and the last can be noticeable. Way overpriced.

Drove up to Las Alamos from Albuquerque to try the "Green Chili Cheese Burger (GCCB)" at the "Pajarito Brewpub & Grill," as it was rated as one of the top 20 GCCB in New Mexico by the "New Mexico Magazine" On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, I would rate this GCCB a 5. The green chili was more of a sauce then chopped, and thus the burger bun became soppy wet. The cheese was over powering, and because the chili was not the best, it tasted more like a plain cheeseburger. The bun was good, but could have been better if toasted, and not soppy wet. The topper is the burger cost $20.00 dollars, way over priced by any standard. I was very disapointed, and would not recommend this Green Chili Cheese Burger,

In times of inflation, more expensive meals are not surprising, as long as quality is there. When the price is very high and the quality is low, this is disturbing. My Reuben sandwich was $19 with $3 extra for fries! I expected the best Reuben ever. Instead it was dry, not on rye as advertised, little kraut, a very poor Reuben. My wife's nachos were also subpar and overpriced. On a positive note, the waitress, who also had to serve as the hostess, was attentive and responsive, and the manager tried to make it up to us. But the meals would have been poor at $5 less, atrocious at the actual price. Beer selection was good, if also a little pricy.

These were the toughest chicken wings I have ever encountered...and I love and eat a lot of chicken wings! The skin was impossible to get through, and the meat itself was also impenetrable. These were smoked with an awful acrid flavor that left them inedible from a taste perspective, even without the toughness that made it physically impossible to eat them. I was charged $25 for an order of wings that I couldn't eat. Coupled with a server who mostly ignored us, this was definitely one of the worst eating experiences I have had.

The food (2 salmon salads and a Reuben sandwich) and the service were very good (4 stars) . The total experience was only 2 star because we were charged $1.50 each for the salad dressings on our salads and for a side of ranch dressing for the fries with the sandwich. The menu does not indicate that there is a charge for each serving of salad dressing with your meal. This is deceptive at best and unethical at worst.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here on Saturday, we had a large group as we were visiting my cousins from out of town. The staff was very accommodating regarding our large group and was completely on top of everything. Our food was excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

We didn't feel like cooking so we took a chance. The entrance is deceiving as the restruant is nice but the entrance is not. The food was excellent. We both had fish and chips. The beer selection is amazing. The service was very good. The sever was outstanding and very personable. We will go back. The prices are a little high but that could be due to supply and demans that is affecting all prices. The place was very busy which is a good sign to me.

My family and I went here for dinner during our spring break road trip. I ordered fish n chips. It was excellent. Our server was quick, efficient and friendly. There were several TVs there but because of the small size of the restaurant, it still maintained a quaint atmosphere. I would definitely go here again.

Passing through and stopped for lunch. I had an awesome turkey and avacado sandwich on some really great bread, but too much for one sitting. Would pass on the hand cut fries next time. Family had the shrimp and grits with chilies--a good choice. The big winner was the short rib nachos. OMG they were awesome but so big. Very shareable for a meal. All in all a great meal. Huge portions, fair price and very nice atmosphere with attentive and nice wait staff. Would come back for sure.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after driving up from Albuquerque. Wait-staff seems confused and took a moment to get a table (place was not packed). Open-face meatloaf sandwich was OK. Not sure if I'll return.
