We had the shwarma bowl with falafel and Lebanese couscous and man, was it beyond delicious! I will eat here every time I am on Saipan.

...as it should be for the price! When dining-in you get complimentary lemon and cucumber-infused water which is nice. You don't get water when you do take-out but thankfully they don't charge for take out boxes like other establishments. And, as a bonus for environmentally-conscious guests, they use biodegradable take-out plates!

This is one of the best themed restos on the island. The place is simple, you order at the counter and the food is served to your table. The service is good, and there's good veggie options. I wish they open on the weekends too.

Small location but has a Fabulous Face Feeding menu. I have been there 3 times. Each time is great! I always or the salad with beef and lamb mixed. Then I tried the eggplant appetizer- yum. I tried the empanada with beef and tomato inside- yum. And then the desert with cinnamon and nuts inside- yum. I have one issue but I won’t hold it against them—we always call in our order to beat the rush but still have to wait for them to fix it when we get there- about 15 minutes. Other than that — this is my go to joint!!!!

Great lunch spot. Delicious Middle Eastern food, lamb, chicken and beef. Friendly staff. But get there early - it fills up most days.

Went for lunch at this restaurant. Ordered lamb shawarma and had babaganoush and tabbouleh for sides. Food was plentiful, tasty, and refreshing to have fresh vegetables. Ambiance was nice and comfy. Service was fast and friendly.

I liked it, probably because i was tired of the buffets and other food the past days. It is for sure a healthy option in saipan. My gf did not like it at all. The humus really was not good. Peanut butter inside! why would you put peanut in a hummus.. Kebab platter had only two kebabs, but was a special taste. Lamp rice dish was also ok Definitely ok for a "cheap" bite, but next time I would probably not order the dishes above mentioned but some side stuff or sandwiches! 30 $ for 3 dishes and two drinks

Caravan is a Middle eastern cuisine styled restaurant with large selections for vegetarians and meat lovers. Their chicken Shawarma plate is excellent as well as their falafel sandwiches. Amazing service and comfy atmosphere. Take out is quick and easy. Great for those who want a filling meal but are dieting.

I have always enjoyed Mediterranean cuisine. And this restaurant did not disappoint. The location was a bit hard to find, right next to Mariana's Variety office; it's not a restaurant you can just stumble upon or see passing through a street. The only reason I knew about this resto was because of a friend who worked at MV. Anyhow, I'm very pleased and happy to have found this small restaurant. The food - authentic and great tasting. I have tried almost everything in their menu. I can't decide which is my favorite. I like everything here so far. We came back almost everyday for lunch 3-4x a week for 2 weeks. That's how much I love the food here. It's also healthy. I am not a vegetable eater but I enjoyed their salads. The price vs portion - pretty average; with medium to large serving on some depending on the order. They don't skimp on meat though and that's what I like most. Service - Very friendly and accommodating. Always good vibes here. Ambiance/Cleanliness - Small yet cozy. I have not used the bathroom yet but so far, the overall place looks clean, organized with Mediterranean spice/aroma and feel to it. Bottom line: I highly recommend this restaurant not only for Mediterranean cuisine fan but also for those who wants to try something new.

While I am not an expert in Middle Eastern foods, I do know that I love shawarma. This restaurant's version is a little different that what I am accustomed to having but, it is really good. The seasoning of the meat as it is roasted is very tasty. the portion is large. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. We will definitely return!

Love their baba ghanoush, hummus and fresh baked pita bread. This is my go-to place for a healthy lunch and the local atmosphere with the daily newspaper on each table is a bonus.

Having spent 25 years in the Middle East myself - I was just recently commenting to a coworker here on Saipan that I sure wish there was an Arabic/Middle Eastern Restaurant here on the Island. Little did I know that one was recently opened by a Palestinian-American businessman who also owns one of the two local newspapers, - the Marianas Variety. . I might have missed it because it is in a somewhat odd location off any major roads. In fact it is in a small white building directly next to the offices of the Marianas Variety newspaper. If you are coming from Garapan and heading south - just as you pass Kristo Rai Church - you will find a road running alongside the churches parking lot with a four or five story Japanese office building on the opposite side of this road – heading south on Beach Road coming from Garapan town center take a left on to the road that runs alongside Kristo Rai Church and the 5 story Japanese office building - and then take the first right in back of the Japanese office building and go down about a quarter of a mile and you will see on the right hand side - the light blue two-story offices for the Marianas Variety newspaper and right before that – you will see a small white one-story building with a small parking lot and the sign - "Caravan 'Healthy Food'" - You can of course call for directions at 234-0638 or 888-1609. Anyway once you found the place you will have found the only Middle Eastern eatery on the Island - - probably the only one in Micronesia. If you're familiar with Arabic food - they have many of the standard fare such as Falafel, Shawarma, little Middle Eastern Pizzas called "Home Pita." - Eggplant done in variety of ways - a Hummus combination plate with olives and zatar - which they have named, "The Palestinian Spread." - The also have a cucumber and yogurt salad and a green salad. They have of course the standard Kebabs and Sheshlik available with beef chicken or lamb. Having spent more than two decades in the Middle East I have to admit that it's not quite the standard I might find in one of the better restaurants of Khobar or Abu Dhabi - but it is not bad and certainly a real treat here on the Island. Most of the restaurant’s business appears to be lunch time takeaways. With their Falafel, Shawarma, Home Pita and their hummus dish called the "Palestinian Spread" being the biggest hits. I would have to admit that the portion size for the Kebabs and Sheshlik are a bit small. But their other dishes are definitely value for money. They are open Monday through Friday – from 9AM to 4PM. Telephone numbers: 234-0638 or 888-1609. Caravan is a great place for brunch or a late breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack or meal and a perfect for place for takeaways - especially if you are in the mood for some Shawarma, Falafel or their little Arabic pizzas called Home Pita’s for only $1.80.
