Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

I would come back to Saipan just to come back to this place. The owner is so sweet she makes it such a personal experience. The food was absolutely delicious best meal I’ve had in Saipan. The drinks were to die for I’ve had the best cocktails in New York all around the USA and the drinks were better then I’ve ever had. The display of local artist was the topping of the cherry. I loved seeing and being immersed in the Saipan culture. If you do anything while your in Saipan GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So welcoming so loving. I had so much fun.

Great little place to pick up some locally made arts & crafts. The beer menu is HUGE but I went with something I knew. The service is great and the atmosphere is rather pleasing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing evening.

Only quaint gift shop featuring local products I found in Garapan, with the added bonus of a craft cocktail bar and good (including vegetarian) food. A block from the American Memorial Park, easy walk from both the Crowne Plaza and Hyatt, and adjacent to a solid dive shop. What else do you need?

Upon entry, my initial impression of the interior was cold and boring. Local handicraft, jewels etc of good quality was displayed in an unorganized unprofessional manner that did no justice to the artists. Unfortunately, and I am sad to say this, the owners personality and attitude matched the interior. The prices are outrageous. $10 for a tiny capsule, about a teaspoons worth, of chiili powder. Other items seemed highly marked up. You can buy them much cheaper elsewhere. I didn't see the value this place adds. This is the only place in Marianas that I don't want to go back to. It is revolting. I feel sad for the local artisans who are showcasing their products there. They have a short opening time. With such quality and attitude, I am surprised that they are open at all

If you’re looking for great Saipan treasures and gifts to take home or send to friends or just some of the world’s best alcohol or alcohol-free cocktails, try Marianas Creations located at Micro Beach Rd, Saipan, 96950, Northern Mariana Islands, open daily except on Sunday from 1100 to 2100 hours (9 PM). Marianas Creations can be found online at marinascreations.com or collocated with the infamous Axe Murderer Dive Shop and Tours on Saipan and beside the incredibly great eatery called Everest Kitchen, which features Nepalese and Mediterranean cuisine. Elina makes her own Ginger Ale and Cucumber Soda from locally grown produce; both drinks are incredibly good. My personal favorite mixed drinks were the Dark & Stormy (dark rum and house-made ginger ale), the Watermelon Mules and Moitos (with locally grown and hand-pressed watermelon nectar), the Horse Feather (with whisky and ginger ale), and the Saipan Mule (with Vodka, hand-squeezed lime juice, and ginger ale). But there are many other drinks, some seasonal made from locally harvested fresh fruits I simply did not have time to try. She offers great bar food like her signature hot wings with her homemade sauce from produce grown in her own farm. Elina also offers locally produced art from artists in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota Islands. Stop by for Thursday Trivia in the evenings, and Elina can offer you packages of locally blended ground or whole-bean Saipan coffee and some of the best bottled hot sauces available in the world, and I have tasted hot sauces in 94 countries. It is really well-balanced and blended and would be great on your chicken dishes, omelets, beans & rice, and many other of your personal culinary creations. Another great gift idea other than the beautiful art displayed and for sale in the establishment are Elina’s personally made exotic jams and jellies from her island farm. Don’t miss this opportunity when on Saipan for drinks and gifts like these crowns worn around the forehead by the local Micronesians picture attached.

A comfortable space, with friendly people who actually care that you enjoy your time, and make friends with you and between the people at their place, all while selling local crafts and serving great food and drink??? Amazing. Elina has made a terrific place here. You can feel how much she has put into this place with everything they do. From homemade ginger ale to a huge reasonably priced beer selection to interesting food to egg flip cocktails everything shows how much she cares. Walking in dirty and tired from flying across the world (Boston to Hawaii to Guam to Saipan) I was welcomed with a smile and invited into conversations by Elina. An hour later I was chatting to Jay and some friends about his adventures diving around the island. It made such a huge impression on me the welcome I got. About the beer (because that's important on a tropical island): you know how in most of the tropics "beer" is Bud Light, Miller Light or Coors? And it's $14 a can? Well here I had some tasty local and non-local brews, from heavy IPA to Pilsners, and all for less than I would pay at a bar in San Francisco. One night a week Jay hosts Trivia. I was alone on this trip, so when I came in for the game he helped me meet some awesome folks and join their team. It was a fun group of people and everyone in the place (about 30 people I think) clearly knew each other and enjoyed playing together. The crafts aren't cheap. That is true. But two things you should know: 1) these are actually local crafts, not made in some factory. You want to buy a tiny surfboard with the word "Saipan" on it? Go to I Love Saipan. It's 3 dollars. You want a Spondylus necklace actually made by a local artist? It's hard to make, and it's hard to find and it's rare. So it's not going to cost you $3. So get over that. 2) Marianas Creations doesn't set the prices, the artists do. That's how a co-op works boys and girls. (Sorry I was reacting to a reviewer here on TripAdvisor!). I loved this place. If I lived in Saipan, they would have to give me my own stool.

Going to Marianas Creations is like going to see old friends. The vibe is light, easy and it won't ask anything from you except that just come as you are 'coz you will find your place here. Get to know more about the CNMI thru the local products featured in the cafe- from coffee to beer and liquor, from accessoties to island inspired art work, your curiosity will be fulfilled. Got to try their Momo's that comes with creamy and tangy tomato sauce and partner them up either with beer or their dragon fruit soda and that's a complete meal by itself. Owners Jay and Elina will be happy to chat with you. Go now!

You will not be disappointed in this cozy friendly cafe. Nice location across from American Memorial park. You are surrounded with great local art and items made locally. The shop is well designed. The crafty drinks are very tasty and made from local fruits. Try the Dark and Stormy. My favorite. Food is also served. A must place to visit. Plenty of parking!

Marianas Creations offers patrons a rich cultural mixture of native Marianas flavor and contemporary influences encapsuled in a modest homey atmosphere. It's a bar within a cafe within a restaurant within an art gallery shop. Any of those can be switched around interchangeably depending on your preference. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation and good drinking and eating. The bar offerings are a combination of mainstream brand based cocktails and local house brews courtesy of Saipan Brewing Company. The food is a fusion of local island cuisine with a Nepalese and western touch--light on the salt, heavy on the flavor. Coffee is also brewed on the house. Last but not least, one of the central attractions of the venue are the gift shop offerings provided by talented local artists of the Marianas ranging from handmade jewelries and handicrafts to paintings and scenic photographs.
