We stopped here on a full day tour of the island. There is a building and a covered patio area.
We both had the hot garlic spiced shrimp which came with a small salad and rice in a styrofoam container. Delicious!
Setting is rustic and...More
I was very disappointed after reading the other reviews. Of all of the shrimp places, I mistakenly chose this place. Small portions, priced higher than other trucks. 6 shrimp and cold rice and corn. The shrimp was not freshly cooked. We had coconut shrimp and...More
Stopped here after receiving a recommendation. Food is freshly prepared for you, affordable and very tasty. We had garlic shrimp which came with rice, corn and pineapple. Worth stopping to try local food.
We tried 3 shrimp trucks (3 of the best rated) and thought all 3 were pretty good, can't go wrong with any of them. At fumi's we tried the garlic shrimp and it was tasty. They had the 2nd largest size of shrimp of the...More
You’re getting an experience that you most likely expect from a good truck/side of the road establishment. It’s not very appealing to look at. The service isn’t meant to be too friendly. It’s a quick “omg this shrimp rocks” experience as you toss your trash...More
We're been going for many years.
Creatures of habbit, have the lemon pepper shrimp.
I hope the shrimp is fresh and local (who really knows), part of the reason why we go here and romys.
But price seems to be going up (14/plate),...More
Can the north shore food truck scene do no wrong? I think not!
Tasty dishes. Succulent shrimp. Polite and efficient service. What’s not to love about these easy, relatively healthy and cost effective meals.
Well done Fumi’s 👍🏼, you deserve the excellent reputation on trip...More
I had always wanted to go to Fumi’s on all our trips to Hawaii, but had never made it.
Imagine how stoked I was then to find out it would be our lunch stop on a tour of the island we were doing.
Stopped at Fumi's while on an all day private tour of Oahu. Very good shrimp and chicken dishes at a very reasonable price. Outside picnic tables added to the overall experience. Short wait for food. Nothing fancy, but that was part of the allure.
This part of Oahu supports a number of shrimp farms that is why these speciality shrimp eating outlets exist. There may have been possibly beef option though the shrimp shacks and trucks specialize in Shrimp mainly. It was... More
This part of Oahu supports a number of shrimp farms that is why these speciality shrimp eating outlets exist. There may have been possibly beef option though the shrimp shacks and trucks specialize in Shrimp mainly. It was pretty popular and you could smell the shrimp from a couple of kilometres away. mmmmmmmm

It is quite far from Waikiki, at least an hour drive. It is a food truck on the side of the road with picnic tables. I don't recall seeing a bus stop nearby. Driving there is easy if you rent a car. If you drive that way, definitely stop at Turtle Bay. They have an amazing public beach.
