We went for the tour as it was very inexpensive. $20 per adult. There are many interesting things to see and the tour was fun as well. At the end of the tour, each person receive a small fruit tray. My family had a lot...More

I have been at the Maui Plantation several times over the pas decades. It has not changed much. It is a good stop. Kids can take the train ride. Prices are high.

We LOVE the Maui Tropical Plantation. We've been visiting there each and every year since our son was 3 (he's now 12). Whether it be to zipline, ride the tram, or just to stroll the grounds, we LOVE the Maui Tropical Plantation! :-)

The 45 minute "tour" was 75 % watching the guide husk a cocoanut. The free fruit sample was 99% pineapple, one piece of mango. We bought ice-cream. It was tasty-but $5 per scoop.

A 45 minute tram ride. A fresh fruit sample at the end of the tour was included. Good information, learn why macadamia nuts are so expensive.

Fantastic little plantation with a train tour. Very informative and fun for kids. Also a zip line on premises and a restaurant.

The guided motor tour (it's not a train on tracks; you're towed... think when you go to Disney or a big amusement park and there's transportation from the parking lot to the park entrance) doesn't go far enough afield; doesn't take you DEEP ENOUGH into...More

The Maui Tropical Plantation has a lot for families to do. There is at least one restaurant that is great. There is a five line zip line with a low age and weight minimum and really great guides (Dylan, Joey, and Makai), and if you...More
