Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Because of Covid everything was done outside the shop-including a tasting so that I could see what the premium brands were like and why Kona coffee cost a fortune. I was convinced and bought a half pound and wished I had bought more. Still drinking it at home and it is so smooth and full bodied. Sigh. I will see if I can buy anything that fresh and delicious in Seattle. You'd think.. but we'll see. It was extraordinary.

Let me start by saying that everything on Maui is expensive, and Island Vintage is no exception. We paid $40 for two 16oz coffees and two 16oz acai bowls. The island latte is really good, with subtle notes of macadamia and coconut. The acai bowls are good, but the wrong consistency. An acai bowl should have a smoothie like consistency but these were mostly liquid. Overall, we went back because the flavors were good and they do give a decent portion of fruit on top of each bowl. Unlike others, we did not experience significant lines or wait times.

Great lox salmon bagel and bacon and cheese bagel for breakfast. We later returned for an iced coconut and iced caramel coffee. Sign said there would be a 15-20 minute wait for food but it was much quicker than that (although we did visit around 11.15 so probably missed the breakfast and lunch rush). Food and coffees were both delicious. Cheaper alternative to breakfast at some of the sit down places at Ka’anapai. Menu choices also slightly different to many of the places nearby if you want to mix it up a bit! Would definitely return

We stay in line every morning to get our coffee & acai bowl which for me is the best acai bowl I've had. Beware that lines can be long as early as 6:45 am. One day we went around 8:30 and waited in line for 45 mins. So make sure you plan ahead or order ahead.

We tried out 9 coffee shops in Maui: Vida, Wailuku coffee, Coffee Attic, Maui coffee roasters, My Titas, Akamai, sugar Beach, Island Vintage, and Lava Java. We were not expecting Island Vintage to be the best since it was in a resort mall area. But it was amazing and had the best coffee. You can also buy their packaged coffee beans but they are not cheap.

During a visit to Whalers Village in Lahaina we stopped by Island Vintage Coffee for coffee and some cold drinks. The service was friendly and efficient and the drinks were good although a little on the pricey side. If you park in the car park building nearby remember to have Island Vintage Coffee validate your parking although I think they only do this if you have spent a certain amount on your purchase.

Great spot for coffee inside Whaler's Village. Just be warned, the line can be pretty long. If you are trying to get a cup before doing a scheduled activity, you might want to preorder before you leave. Online orders are available, but they still have a quoted ready time, it is not like it allows you to skip the line.

The coffee at Island Vintage Coffee is always delicious and fresh. They use 100% Kona coffee for a consistently great coffee experience. If you like a flavored coffee, the Island latte uses mac nut and coconut syrup in the latte for a sweet and delicious treat. The drip coffee and americano are great as well. Expect to pay on par with Starbucks and other speciality coffee shops.

Best coffee on the island. Great, friendly staff greets you. Loved the iced Vintage Maui Mocha. Also, the acai bowls are something special. I walked there everyday.

I liked this place so much think I visited five times during my week-long vacation. Everything was excellent. The papaya almond butter boat was my favorite. The Haupia Moana bowl is also a great choice.

We had amazing coffee and açaí bowls - tried the island latte and ginger chai. Everything was delicious, but we did not anticipate the long wait. We were here around 8 am and waited for at least half an hour. Totally worth it, but it caught us by surprise.

I was so excited to find this NOT oridnary coffee place here amongst the shops in Whalers Village. Went everyday early for a week to get my coffee (tried 4 different ones and loved each one!). And the Lilikoi Acai Bowl is to die for!!!

We went here every morning for coffee during our stay and were not disappointed. I would much rather spend money on good, local coffee than the free hotel stuff or St*rbucks any day. Come EARLY, the line gets long.

Best coffee in Town! Forget Starbuck and Bad Ass Coffee. This is your place to be if you fancy a europeen Cappuccino. But be awared it will take you some time to place your order. Even if you are a early bird and right in front of the door when its open at 7. you will have to queue anyway. At least 15‘inutes. But its worthy. Try acai bowls as well.

Ordered an $8.50 lava mocha, which was essentially milk foam. No coffee or chocolate flavor. Further, Kona whole bean coffee is $80 a pound. Avoid.
