biggest reuben i have had in my life

Had the biggest reuben of my life here. It was at least 3 inches or more thick. I went ahead and upgraded to a combo which came with more fries than i could eat as well as a very crisp dill pickle. I was able to get several meals out of this meal. You will definitely get your money's worth here. I know it is more nutritious to leave the skin on fries but I honestly don't care for them. The place is very clean and there is plenty of free parking which includes parking in the front as well as the left side. The guy that waited on us was very friendly and charismatic. He reminded me of Paul Stanley of KISS fame.

Nice Lunch

My sister and I had a nice lunch here and was pleased with meals. The staff was friendly and attentive. The owner was telling us their plans for the future to offer dinner specials and expanding the space. I am looking forward to other entrees that will be added to the menu in the future. The hummus was very good also!

Good Mediterranean Food

I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was at this small Mediterranean restaurant on a South Charleston side street. We were a table of ten friends there for dinner. The dinner entrees were very generous, and everyone said their selection was delicious. My husband had the Mediterranean Sea Scallops which were huge and nicely prepared. I enjoyed the Fire Roasted Lamb - also delicious. We were seated outside on the heated terrace. I believe it would have been less easy to talk inside the restaurant.

Vaguely Mediterranean

Most of the Menu is quite Americanized and hard to find authentic Mediterranean dishes .Originally, I went here last year on a work trip, however, it was a long time to get seated, and I left . Came back for a visit this year and was seated relatively quick. Service was slow, and lacking. My waitress spilled a lot of my Turkish coffee out of its cup while handing it and the coffee itself was not made traditionally it was extremely watery, no froth and hardly luke warm. The Good: The Bulgarian Feta with Olives appetizer, very good. It took a long time to get my appetizer, but it was the best part of my experience here. I tried the Kafta Burger- it too was served luke warm and leaking out water like it was frozen, mild kafta seasoning, disappointing. Overall , the appetizer was what I enjoyed, wouldn’t come back.

Good food and prices!

Great food and prices! Variety of flavors. We sat outside on patio but they do have indoor seating also. Seem to have a selection of wines. The tomato bisque soup was creamy with a hint of spice; very tasty. The cucumber tomato Mediterranean salad was refreshing. The gourmet grilled cheese featured a combination of cheeses and was grilled to perfection. The background music was not to loud but pleasant.

We had a great take out dinner

We had a great take out dinner while staying at a hotel nearby. Food was delicious and the order was prepared quickly, prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the Fatoush salad, hummus with veggies, Greek gyro, falafel, and the tomato bisque. I would eat here again if in the area.

Best Reuben Ever!

Good food! We were pleasantly greeted when we arrived and seated immediately. Our server was courteous and friendly, but the best part of the evening was the food. I love a Reuben sandwich and the sandwich served here is the best by far. The corned beef was so flavorful--you really tasted the beef rather than the brine flavor. We had a wonderful meal and will return when in the area.

Enjoy everything with a Mazza Combo!

We ordered the Mazza 6 plate to share and will enjoy leftovers for lunch! We picked the roasted red pepper hummus, fried feta (with apricot preserves!), falafel, shrimp ceviche, pierogies, and Za'atar bread. The flavors were powerful and intense.... delicious. We ordered Take Out (staying at the hotel across the street). So although there was a crowd at the hostess stand, I picked up my order quickly. Cot reserves rves

Superb meal and great service

We ate the fried feta appetizer. And that was the start of a great meal. My husband ate barely half of one of the biggest sandwiches I have ever seen, the Muffalata. I had the Mahi with roasted tomatoes, zucchini and peppers with a rice and orzo mix. For dessert we had the beignets! Ate outside on the patio, and the servers took great care of us!

Nice indoor/outdoor restaurant in South Charleston

Had an enjoyable meal with good food and service on the patio at Olive Tree Cafe on my most recent WV visit. The gyro was good and tasty, but didn't have much finesse on the plate. My friends enjoyed a classic turkey sandwich, cheese fries (yum!!), and the hummus plate. Nice to see South Charleston has stepped it up a bit in the food world. The owner was very friendly and checked on the patrons throughout the evening, a nice touch.

Nice light dinner.

Friendly service and very tasty food. Pretty good value overall. Had two items: the Gyro Sandwich (more like a wrap) and it was good; and the Italian Beef, with grilled peppers, onions and melted provolone, which was excellent.

My staff met here for a fantastic dinner. We ordered the Mediterranean fries, fried feta, & pirogies for appetizers. I think the nine of us had everything from lamb to salads. It was great & the service was fantastic. I’ve eaten here many times & always had great meals!

Staying at hotel across the street, this is a great restaurant. Service top notch but food even better. Have their soups of the day tomato!!!hubby had chicken, Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes.

A decent option while in the area

I am reading this average. The service was average. The food was hit and miss. I thought the loaded hummus plate was delicious. The falafel was not to my expectations.

Had to wait about ten minutes to be seated was there about two hours for food and to wait for our food…..service was bad……. Don’t think I would recommend it to family or friends
