Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I ate dinner here while staying overnight in Ripley on a road trip to Ohio. We had pizza and wings. The wings were good. The pizza was ok. The prices were reasonable.

This is a West Virginia chain of fast-food Italian places. By the time I arrived in town, it was one of the few places still open, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I got a personal pizza, and to my surprise, it was actually pretty good. It was also very cheap (about $6), with quick and decent service. Not bad at all for fast food.

I almost turned around when we stepped inside, because it's one of those restaurants that you go to the counter to order and they bring it to your table. I do not like fast food restaurants, nor eating on paper plates with plastic forks. But, it was a Tuesday, buy one/get one, so we decided to try it. We got two huge portions of baked spaghetti (which was delicious), along with 6 small pieces of garlic toast. We added an antipasto salad, which of course, was extra. We got all this food for under $20 with leftovers to take home. So glad we decided to give it a try.

Not only was it horribly slow getting food, but when it got to the table, it was totally subpar. Don't know where the Gino's of youth went, but this trip took this location off my list.

Both the regular and mini Pubwiches are soooo delicious and very filling. I always get the ham version of it...

I grew up with Gino's in various locations around southern WV. Moved away and now Gino's is a treat.
Pizza bread was always one of my favorite things, so I went back to the old standard. Good bread and mix of the right amount of sauce, meat and cheese rounded out the meal. My wife got the ham and cheese salad and it came in what could rightfully be called a serving bowl. Way more than she could finish. It was covered in strips of ham and handfuls of cheese.
This is a good Gino's where the staff cares what come out of the kitchen.

Gino's is a small locally owned restaurant specializing in Italian food. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and the place is clean. I love their pizza breads, but you MUST try their cheesy bread. Awesome! I can't brag on it enough! Ripley gets a lot of out of town traffic during the 4th of July celebration and the Mountain State Art and Craft fair. If you're among them, but sure to stop by Gino's Pizza & Spaghetti House.
