I received a gift card for Texas Roadhouse at Christmas so I decided to take my wife and granddaughter there for dinner. The food was ok, as well as the service. I thought it was a little pricey for just a run of the mill steakhouse. I also didn't care for the atmosphere, everything was crammed into such a small space it literally felt like you were sitting on top of one another. Some people may like it but I can't see myself returning there. If I receive another gift card for there , I think I'll just re gift it.

My husband and I ordered our steaks medium rare thinking they’d come out medium, as has been our experience. This Texas Roadhouse sent it out medium rare, so we had them take our steaks back to cook a little. It wasn’t their fault,but they apologized and ended up giving us extra potatoes and another side kick of shrimp. It wasn’t necessary but I was impressed with their customer service and attitude. Food was great also!

Didn't get my salad

Generally this place has been good for take out. Food often needs a little heat up. Today was an exception. Neither the website or the app operated correctly. Had to order by phone so no receipt until pay at pick up. Didn't get my salad with my meal. Didn't find out until I got home, too far for return trip. Check your bank even if it slows traffic.

dry over cooked steak and bad waitress

usually my favorite restaurant butt the last couple times the service sucked the steak was over cooked and dry and chewy i am willing to try it again butt if it’s bad again i won’t be back. i didn’t tell the waitress didn’t wanna wait on a manager.. plz what ever you changed about the way you cook steaks plz change it back.. and the waitress was not trained properly or something

No Answer on Take Out

After waiting on hold for 40 minutes with no answer on the take out line, was transferred to a Manager and waited on hold for 20 minutes with no answer. The service at this location has really declined over the last couple of months. I am a frequent customer since this location opened but their service is really getting bad.

If you love the taste of extreme salt, this is the place for you.

Three people ordered, three separate entrees, each of us thought the food would have been excellent had we been able to eat it. Each of us would have loved to finish our meal, but could not work our way through the salt. Shame, it was essentially good food, just very poorly seasoned. We will go back to Parkersburg, but we will not be eating, there or recommending the establishment. Waitress was good.

Wow! Great food and great service

During our stay at Wingate we at here and was really impressed. Although they were very busy the evening we were there, the food and service was great and the food was exactly as ordered and plenty of it. We took enough for a complete two person meals back to the hotel. Great food great service. Will be there again.

Great location by hotel when traveling. Food was good.

We were traveling from MI to SC and stayed the night in Parkersburg, WV. The restaurant was close once you leave the hotel parking lot. The restaurant was a little busy so we had to wait a few minutes to be sat. Our server came over right away and took a drink order. Food came out in a timely fashion. No issues.

What you'd expect

Went on a busy Saturday night. Nice to be able to add our name to the list online and have them text when our table was ready. Food is what you'd expect. Didn't get any dinner rolls, which I thought was one of their trademarks. Good gluten free options. Service was what you'd expect as well for a busy Saturday night. Wouldn't hestitate to go back.

A very long wait after a quick trip to the table. Ordered well done and sent 3 steaks back. Blood running out! And didnt get onion or ribs! Awful, never be back

You can eat here as long as you don't know anyone that works there, if so beware.

It's sad that a local business can't be trusted due to employees personal vendettas. I've visited many times with no problems and then after Kim Tiedemann got butthurt over something she did herself all of a sudden when I eat here I spend the night doubled over in pain feeling like I'm going to vomit. I won't be back until it's a safe environment again and it is without a vengeful thief being employed there. Extremely disappointing.

Very good steak place.

Wife and I stopped here for dinner two nights while we were in Parkersburg. Overall food was good and service great. I was impressed with the protocols for Covid. Good place for steak at dinner.

Stopped in here for a quick supper. Placed in back by windows. The waiter picked up the menu from the bucket on the table and a moth flew out. Later, we wanted to eat peanuts, and a stink bug came out. Total gross. My steak was good. Texas Roadhouse is no longer my favorite. 2 visits in the past 3 months (different towns 50 miles apart) and my visit was blah.
