Pleasantly surprised with Excellent Steaks in a casual relaxed atmosphere.

I had the salt and pepper Ribeye Steak w/ baked potato , Brussel sprouts, salad and ice tea. The steak was cooked medium rare. The potato was perfect. Salad was fresh with no brown or wilted bits. The Brussels had good flavor but were slightly overcooked imo. We were seated promptly. Staff was pleasant. Our check arrived without waiting. Dessert was offered but we declined due to being stuffed. My partner had the 2- 4oz beef filets with baked potato and salad. The filets were perfectly cooked and had very good flavor. Salad and potato was done correctly. Overall a great experience. Very surprised to find such great steaks in a town where anything approaching fine dining is non existent and fast food is the norm. Casual fine dining does exist at O'neils. We WILL be back.

Great Food! Relaxing Atmosphere!

My family was in the area for a fishing vacation. We chose O'Neills for dinner on a Friday night. There were plenty of other diners, but we were quickly seated and had our orders taken. The food was excellent...large portions and very tasty. My son said that the fettuccini was possibly the best he had ever eaten. The rest of our family ate fish and chicken, and everyone loved what they ordered...no complaints. I would definitely recommend O'Neills if you're ever in Moorefield.

Very good food, servers are friendly. It's always packed in the evening, I would recommend late afternoon to go. My only complaint would be the creme brulee, though it tasted ok, it could really use improvement especially with the burnt sugar on top..

A very Disapointed Customer!

THE ENTRY IS ROUGH but the inside of the property was okay. i ordered the loaded potatoes which came with salad. The loaded stuff yeah it was a joke, loaded with cheese, the bacon, and chili were minimal I had to leave on my plate half of the potatoes because it was by itself. We ordered dessert that was nice a tasty the chocolate lava cake and ice cream were delish. Not a good experience for a birthday lunch really wasn't. Server was on point with her service and was prompt taking the order and along the way we ate she was there to clear the table for us, that was the only thing that it was great.

Dinner at ONeil's

I've eaten here once before awhile back and remember enjoying it so this time around I suggested this be the dinner stop. Friendly and quick service and good recommendations on food. This was the first time I had had dinner there and I'd say it was reasonable. I ordered the ribs. The sauce was good but was not cooked with the ribs, just put on afterwards. They were not fall off the bone but had a decent flavor. The sides of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus on the other hand were something else! I was quite pleased with them. All and all it's a good place to stop and you should check it out.

Best place to eat in Moorefield

This was my second time being at O'Neill's and there was a reason I came back. Tasty sandwiches and burgers, with daily soup specials. We had the Old Fields (Reuben type) and the Smoke House burger, along with some Cream of Potato soup. They were very festive with some lovely Christmas decorations up in the business. I look forward to stopping by the next time we drive through the area.

Filling Lunch

While traveling through Moorefield we found this place. It was just after noon and they were packed. We figured since so many people were there it must be good. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The menu was somewhat limited but offered some awesome lunch choices. Our food was brought to us pretty quickly and tasted good. If your looking for a simple but good meal give them a try!

Good service, Good Food

Called a day ahead to see if they took reservations. Friendly hostess said "we do for parties of 5 or more. Made reservations for party of 8 at 5:30 for the next day. Turned our 4 of our party travelling was running an hour late. Called back and asked if we could move the reservation to 6:30 pm. "Not a problem." Wonderful experience -- they were ready for us and our waitress was great. Everyone please with their meals. Would go back in a heartbeat when we are in the area.

Hi we were a group of lads driving to snow shoe mountain to compete in the world mountain bike championship series We pulled of the main road to find some lunch what a great result what a lovely local restaurant we found. The girl that looked after us was excellent and very funny . We will definitely be back next year if not sooner Thanks again 👍

Oh so good at O'Neills

Cute, quaint, local eatery. Food was great, we had the Maryland Crab soup and salad. Outstanding. If we lived closer, we'd be there everyday. Ask for Tara,, she was wondferful.

A must stop in Moorefield

Always stop here when we're in town. Oneills never disappoints. BBQ chicken is excellent. Seating is a bit limited though. Recommend going a little early for dinner

Group Dinner at O’Neils

On a recent Thursday evening our family group of 6 that was in Moorefield for a family funeral dined at O’neils And greatly enjoyed it. It was down home cooking at it’s best. The country fried steak was wonderful and the salads were outstanding. Other dishes were inexpensive but innovative. Best of all, the final tab was extreme reasonable. Would definitely dine there again!

Tasty food & service with a smile!

We were in Moorefield, VW to visit family twice -- on our way to a wedding in Reading, PA and on our way home again! Both times we ate at O'Neills, once for lunch and once for dinner. My son and daughter-in-law HIGHLY recommend this place and we have to agree! It was always crowded. We got there as they opened for lunch on a Thursday and once the doors opened people just kept coming! Very popular place. Although O'Neills has a generous menu with some very interesting names -- sandwiches, entrée's, and pies, they also cater to vegetarians and special needs of the diners. I was full after having my salmon dinner, but just had to try the Maple Syrup pie! Not being able to choose among the other pies listed on the menu we ended up taking two with us for later. Good choice! All of us did enjoy eating at O'Neills. It's not fancy but is clean, serviceable, comfortable and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the menu has lots of selections. I look forward to eating there again when we visit in Moorefield.

Now that’s a salad

Wow...stopped by my father and I both ordered salads. They were humongous and very tasty. We had the Cobb and Spinach...So large we had doggie bags.

Much Better Than Ponderosa!

This is a far better place to eat than the so-called steak house Ponderosa Restaurant Steak House which is just up the road. I ate at both places and got a decent steak cooked to order at O'Neills than I did at the Ponderosa. I would recommend O'Neills 10X than the other one!
